    Awesome Video i started adding chicken grower mix to my worm bins and i definitely see a difference in size of the worms. The only downer is that i must grind it to a finer texture as its not as fine as i hoped it will be.

      You can. Certainly do that but it's not necessary

    Meme, this is amazing. To see where you were 2 years ago and where your at and headed now. As a new subscriber I am in awe of the videos of yours I have watched thus far. I will leave a LIKE for each which will allow me to know I've already watched it, but it helps you. Can't always comment, I watch while I work all night but I am happy to be a supporter of all you do. Have some worms myself but just 2 small bins I recently started and just interested in always learning anything worms. Good to know about the onions. I know Pineapple is enjoyed.

    Great video,
    So, if you make your bedding as you do the feeding...(beside the milk powder and sand) what make them fat?
    When harvesting after 21 days and place the worms in new bedding do you separate the eggs to different bin?

    • @MemesWorms
      @MemesWorms  4 роки тому +2

      Thank you for the kind compliment. Yes after 21 days you separate the worms and the bedding. That bedding you will keep add some manure and hatch new worms. The laying mesh is what fattens them up.

    How many worms are in each bin for fattening that you only need to feed them one big feeding and harvest them 14 days later?

    • @MemesWorms
      @MemesWorms  4 роки тому +6

      Da Kine Garden Stuff we put about 350 worm per bed. Remember this is only to fatten them. You raise them to mature worms before doing this. You put one scoop in intil they eat it down usually about 2 days then add another scoop. In about 14 days they should be fattened up. Sorry if I didn’t make it more clear. Thanks for asking! This was my first video and I was slightly nervous lol

      @@MemesWorms Thats good to know you have your euros in a bin or mortar tray. I got some worms in bins to try to not have a lot mixed. I noticed by my horse corral there seems to be like red wigglers there and I cant remember if they were already there or if some left my IBC tote and went by the corral. Great video.

    I started raising European worms about 4 weeks ago I have 350 in a tote they have done good until today went over to feed them this afternoon and they are starting to try to crawl out I put water on them but not too much they were full grown when I bought them any idea what going on

    • @MemesWorms
      @MemesWorms  Рік тому +1

      Check temps, moisture and food. If you have a lid on the bin take it off. If moisture is on the sides of the bins worms love to explore and will follow the moisture. If it's too hot or too cold your worms will leave the bin. You could always start the bin over if you can't get it figured out.

    • @MemesWorms
      @MemesWorms  Рік тому +2

      Anything in moderation is ok not to say that it's always a good idea. The milk powder was for vitamins and calcium but was such a small amount it would not harm them. I feed the same for babies
