Well then you don’t know too much about lead guitar then. 😉
Maybe you should look at the versions from Martin Miller if you want something to compare this with.
This band is decent and the sound is good - don’t get me wrong but constructive criticism would be that this is not fabulous lead guitar.

But it sounds good, the guitarist plays just right and his phrasing is good.
The voice fits well, which makes the melody pleasant to listen to.

I agree. Said the same thing to my girlfriend even before I read your comment. Solo lacks accentuation the right places and more variety. Staccato in some of the signature parts of the solo. This what rehearsal is for… 😉
