    Wow! Amazing footage! Can you imagine building those structures by hand??

      I often think about that.....it would take forever!!!! and they were built so symmetrical and have lasted through the test of time.
      and can you imagine gathering all those rocks? these people were definitely masters at their craft!......Thanks for watching sandi!

    Tougher laws against morons that destroy ancient sites .
    Maybe set up a hidden game trail camera .

      I agree! These ancient sites have lasted for hundreds of years and it only takes seconds to destroy.....the penalty should be stiff!

    you're much better at flying a drone than I am! I'll vote differently than my buddy... I thought you talking to the camera and explaining things did add positively to the video. Gotta love UA-cam... can't make everyone happy.

    Beautiful video, and I agree, keep these ancients homes safe from idiots. It's amazing to just see them from your drone, don't need details.

    Good to see you went up the 288! I've spent a lot of time up there recently and it's a great area. That canyon in the beginning is really special, nothing else like it in the area. I found a video recently where a couple guys hiked down through the bottom and it's amazing down there. Really think that Tonto should try to put some special protections on that specific canyon. Small correction on the distance, it's about 1.5 hours from Phoenix up the 60/188/288.
    As far as calibrating the drone, I never do that with my Mini 3 Pro. 😅 Never really thought about it.

    • @jessiesdroneadventures7464
      @jessiesdroneadventures7464  3 місяці тому

      I would say I calibrate my drone 90% of the time, if im in town or at home I don't, but for safety reasons, if I'm out in the boonies like in this video...I always calibrate to be in the safe side. Tempted to make another video on 288 showcasing the drive from the big steel bridge to Young, AZ. Thanks for watching

    If you would you could do a favor for archeologists. It would have to be looked up but somewhere near Santa Fe I believe is an agency that keeps a database on found sites such as this. You could contact them and send them your coordinates. They may know of this site, but then again may not. Every little bit of data helps. Thanks.

      @@jessiesdroneadventures7464 The ellipses cause me to sense reservation in this response. If you don't mind me assuming, if you have any reservations about that, the modern archeological community has taken leaps forward in respecting and preserving what belongs to indigenous peoples.
      Just an assumption on my part because it's understandable; they have been far less than respectful in the past.

    lol, I said the canyon along the Apache Trail in your other video reminded me of Zion.
    I really gotta get me a drone, but I'm just worried about spending money on something I don't know how to use or crashing it right away! If am able to get enough money to buy one, that would def be a huge setback.
    I have 2 digital cameras someone gave me and I still don't know how to use them because I don't know what all the stuff is or what it does...and yea, I'm a photographer...just been using my phone and I've tried looking it up online...just awful w/high tech stuff! I really need hands on training where I'm shown how to use these things, but I don't think there's anything like that out there??? I think most guys are way better at this kinda thing lol
