It depends on who you ask. Ask an SEO expert and they say it can work for small business. Ask a Google Ads agency and they say you need to do it and it will help small business. Of course they say that. Google has published that small budget ads don't show and get dominated by large budget competing campaigns. Franchises and large corporate owned companies destroy small business.

Great video! I have long known that local small businesses just need to keep their Google Maps information current and regularly updated to be found by thousands of people. PLUS use the tried and true local print advertising with a broad reach because it still works! Great content Jake - so true! Advertising is simple: one needs to always have the constant positive drip drip drip of keeping your business in front of the public to counteract any negative word of mouth or bad reviews - whatever the platform. My customers hire me to stay on top of this simple, but effective method for them, handling all the little details, while they get the proven results. If it didn't work, more businesses would fail.
