I visited a town in Spain, Guadix, where half of the town lives in cave homes. We spent a couple of nights in a cave bed and breakfast. It was quite nice. People seemed to take great pride in their cave homes. For heating and cooling, it's very economical. There are also towns in Turkey where people live in caves.
There was a few I really like, the super cool one was the place with the helicopter pad- it almost was like a sci-fi or Incredibles type of house. Keep Orange Crushing It !

The fact that the same pictures are available on the internet and were almost certainly posted WITH PERMISSION by the realtor or original owner. Do you remember how you found the home? Pics online maybe... well, if they existed, whether you saw them or not, once they were posted online they became public domain. "Right to show" granted, since I'm not aware of any (although im sure you can find one if you try) realtor who says you cannot reproduce pictures since they want to get as much coverage as possible.
