Hey guys, in this video I show you how to make a very easy villager breeder which gives a lot of villagers and doesn't require a lot of recourses!
This tutorial shows you how to make an EASY VILLAGER BREEDER In Minecraft 1.19, but it works on older versions as well! With this farm you can get tons of villagers in Minecraft. This is a villager farm villager breeder. You can build this in survival.

I built this farm underground, you have to have at least 3 blocks open above the beds for it to work :) !

I build it above ground but I made a house around it and couldn’t figure out why it would work- tysm!!!!!
This works in 1.20.4 Java but there are a couple fixes that you need to do
1. Make sure there is a 2 block space above all beds (you have the bed and then above 2 open spaces/no blocks)
2. If the villagers keep running towards the trapdoor and not farming do this. Destroy all beds, place 2 beds for the 2 villagers in the farming area and make sure they assigned themselves to it, then place new beds in the separate room like in the video
3. Make sure mob griefing is on otherwise it won’t work
4. I didn’t have this issue personally but I’ve seen in other comments that you should have a normal block (not farmland) right in front of the trapdoor where the baby villagers fall because sometimes they get stuck

for some reason one of the villagers wont becaome a farmer what to do?
@@yomoyammy if there’s 2 composters there try breaking one that’s not already assigned to a villager and replacing it. Also make sure there are no other work stations insight of the villager that they can assign to (lecterns, stone cutter, barrels, etc). It can sometimes take the villager a while to become a farmer because it has to realize that the composter is the only work station near it that it can assign to. Hopefully this helps. This is the only fix I can think of at the moment so I hope it works. 👍

Imagine if this was real life. You have 2 slaves brought forcefully from their homes for them to procreate an entire labour force. The female has to give birth without any medical assistance except herself and her partner in a dirty enviroment leading to infection. Their offspring is then loaded into a train to be shipped off to a labour camp as the parents can only helplessly watch their children being taken away from them. The child grows up into an adult and then is forced to work in a labour camp with minimal pay and no escape until he/she is an inefficient worker. The worker at times may also be intentionally converted into the undead and then cured so that the employer (player) can justify decreased payments

Villagers cannot despawn...they need the composter to become farmers to make breeding way more efficient.

Was having a difficult time getting the bastard child to go into the trap every time. Once in awhile he'd go right in but most of the time (even at night) he'd run around and skip past it.
Solved this issue by placing a block that isn't dirt in front of the trap door. This gives the kid an easy funnel type of surface. Seems like the carrots in front of trap hinders entry in some slight way

I did that but all they do now is juke around it
My villagers made two new villagers, and now all they do is stand next to the trap door all day and night. They don't farm and they don't breed. Any thoughts?

@@reqoil2268the amount of beds = amount of villagers so 4 beds means they will only make 2 more villagers to fill the bed space
If there is any blocks above them, remove them
the stupid Villager Babies don't fall into the hole for me, they stay on the farm and hop around there...

(Villager!) I've never built a villager breeder and this really helped! It didn't work originally but that was because mob griefing was disabled on my creative test world. It worked afterwards, though. Great job, man!
The trapdoors are misplaced in the tutorial causing it to not work. Make sure the villagers have a valid path to the beds assuming the trapdoors are left in the neutral position. You can do this by placing the trapdoor against a block above. You will know it's working if you yourself can walk across the trapdoors. The only difference from the tutorial is the top trapdoor should open downwards instead of up.
after the fallen child grows do they continue to breed or do they stop until i remove the villager ?

@@gabriel9264Villagers need either of these to breed; 3 breads, or 12 carrots, or 12 potatoes + a minimum space of 3 × 3 to breed. Since carrots are easily harvested in large amounts it is by far the most effective thus it'll increase the rate on which they breed and produce offspring. Hope that helps!

Is there a reason why the villagers wont breed if I add a roof on top? I’m leaving 4 or more blocks above the beds and they become unhappy until I remove the roof.

I think the roof isn’t allowing the crops to grow because it’s getting no sunlight
This form does not work in 1.20.2, Java edition vanilla survival. The villagers claim the beds.

i suggest trying to cover the diagonals as that might be how they are reaching it
you can just roll the boat straight into the farm instead of letting them enter the farm themselves. once both two are inside, block off the entrance and break their boat

Hi, i have a few issues regarding this villager breeder. I use Bedrock edition 1.19.
1. Why are the baby villagers not walking towards the trapdoor? I made it exactly like how the one in the video is made.
2. Sometimes when villagers exceed 2+ they escape in the rail area thing.
Can you guys maybe help me on how to fix this issue?

I’m having a bit of trouble with the baby villager falling into the hole because the parents block it and even when the parents don’t block the hole the baby villager doesn’t seem to go down

I had the same problem so I just placed a block in front of the trapdoor and got rid of the trapdoor itself. Seemed to work fine after that
Mine won’t work. It worked for a villager, then I put a bed close and got a second. I moved those two over 50 blocks away.. eventually had to kill one, breeder made another after I reset beds but had a fourth again. I can’t get more then a villager per bed even with two far away.
I am kinda late to the party but Voltrox I just started a Harcore World and ur channel is amazing for videos! I have only watched 2 so far but then being short and snappy is the best bit. I think you deserve more subs. Good luck! 😊

My Villagers Won't Farm or Breed? (is there any problem that would be causing it)
I’m not entirely sure, but I’m guessing you need to place more beds for new baby villagers. Every time you get a new villager out with a Minecraft, make sure you place a new bed for the said new villager.
Mine only made 1 villager, I tried adding extra beds to see if they would make another one but it never worked, I followed everything to a tee
Edit- I removed the glass I had put on top, and it seems to be working now

Hello! Your videos are very great and the farms always work. But this one didn't work for me :/ I am sure that I did everything correct but my villagers are not breeding. They don't eve harvest the carrots! I've tried giving them some carrots myself too but they just stand on the carrots and stare at them. Can someone help me about this?

Destroy the beds
Pick up the beds. You can replace them when you want the farm to start up again.
Connect redstone to the trapdoors. If they can't see the beds, they don't breed!
My tiny villager friends won't assign themselves to the right bed and grow up before falling in the trap. 🙄 Definitely shouldn't have built so close to the village.

Since the 1.20.6 update mine has stopped working, can anyone help?
It was working well up until very recently. I've been using the villagers nearby in a trading hall. There are also lots of animals around and a mob farm 100+ blocks up. Can any of these be the problem?
-I've doubled checked trapdoors are placed correctly inside.
-They are farming correctly and trying to breed, we get the hearts, then an angry react.

-Put a few beds by my trading hall.
-Removed and replaced the beds that are in the villager farm, and made sure they slept in them.
-Dropped more carrots on the villagers.

You’re also able to stack these and have multiple villager breeders if you need a lot of villagers for a trading hall or for an iron farm.
Honestly you don't need many villagers you just need three librarians with unbreaking efficiency and mending and need a few farms and cartographers and letchers and i think you could get that many villagers in like 40 minutes of this farm
I made a iron farm which is very good which spawns iron golems and kills them
@@immiketyson If you're going for perfect enchantments you need more. Sharpness, fortune, silk touch, punch, power, infinity, feather fall, depth striders, aqua affinity, protection, etc...

The villagers will only breed if there are unclaimed beds in the area. If your villagers that are already breaded are taking up the beds in your area then they won’t make more babies.

When my baby villagers are made they get assigned to the bed you can see by the green stuff but they don't fall for the trapdoor and they just sit there and get mad they can't reach thier bed any tips on how to fix it?
My villagers won't breed, they're both farmers and linked to two of the beds but each night show the frustrated signs trying to get to the beds

I had the same problem. I tried breaking and replacing the beds. That seemed to work. Also make sure there is enough space above the beds. @@starant
sorry to tell you this but your farm dosnt work for me when i put the villager in iit goes for the bed
skill issue then. Follow the tutorial and it works fine. Add a 4th bed to the side to increase efficiency

For anyone asking if you can use other food beside carrots, the answer is yes, But bread is the best one since it is 3 point per bread which means you only need to give them a little food for them to start breeding! But ofc carrots and potatos works too

how about beetroot?
You can't grow bread. And villagers have trouble harvesting wheat properly because they need to plant using wheat seeds which are different from the wheat itself. Same with beetroot, but it's even worse because villagers don't treat beetroot as food. So only carrots and potatoes work here

That's when you're too close while they're breeding! You really have to give them some privacy!
@@Voltrox the problem is likely just that I built a roof over the beds and the beds now don't have 2 blocks of space above. they made another villager when I took the roof off and then stopped again probably because I only lifted it for half a block

My minecarts wont run up the rail. The activator rails are on, but the cart pops out and rocks back and forth in place...

CAUTION JAVA PLAYERS: I built this in 1.20 and even at Y200 this farm doesnt work. villagers have to sleep i think
EDIT: ill check back in a bit but i took the blocks away on each side of the trap doors and that should allow the villagers to sleep, baby villagers will have an even harder time falling down the hole but oh well. if it works better than nothing.

Hello, I made your design in my world and thank you for sharing it with the community. I’m bedrock (PS4/5) I have a few questions. I was wondering how often do they breed a baby villager after breeding one? Also, what’s the time gap in between breading a baby villager? Is it possibly after every by day or night cycle? Or is it by how much food source they hold in hand or is it by the crop size? Or is it by how often I would throw them crops items on them to pick up?
I think they make more baby's always like every 60 seconds if they have enough food and beds
So what i would do is throwing on them lot's of potato's or whatever til they can't pick no more
1-5 minutes to breed I think and takes a full minecraft day/night cycle (20 minutes) to grow up. Hope this helps

Same problem
The issue is the top trap door to the beds. It needs to flip down instead of up. Take the block thats put down at 1:43 and move it one block up. Then put your trap door on top of that. remove the block and flip the trap door down.

my villagers aren’t breeding anymore and the only baby they’ve made won’t grow 😭
They can’t spawn more then one baby since there are only 3 beds. If you added 3 more beds to his then you can. Try to get the villagers out to the trading hall so more can spawn.
