Sorry for giving trouble. I approach for your expert second opinion for my observation in my car Caren 1). Engine oil filled by service centre more than max. Level On drawing their attention, they say don't bother. Read somewhere that excess engine oil can damage system. Is it true ? And does it applicable to engine of Caren also. 2). Normally observed cabin as well engine of a petrol car is sound. But in my Caren it is noisy. Like to know Is it normal in Caren bcoz Service people does not find unusual.

For those planning on 1.4 Turbo Petrol Manual, an eye opener. There is a design flaw where there is pickup issue in first and second gear, specially when going on an incline and slotting from 1st to 2nd. It's VERY UNSAFE to drive on hilly areas. It even struggles on the ramp of car parking area. Second issue is Hill Assist, which do not disengage on pressing accelerator, but takes its own sweet time of 2/3 seconds. Kia is promising an update to fix, but who knows when. Pls do a thorough test drive on inclines, or better yet go for another brand/car.

I own the same 1.4 turbo Variant and have driven 2500+ kms so far. I tested driving at 80-95 KMPH at got 17KM/L and at 100+ KMPH with an average of 14+ kmpl. Its surprising to hear that the owner is only getting 11KMPL

Turbo Petrol ko drive karne ka system thoda alag rehta hai. Make sure you aren't revving the engine past 2500 RPM. Short shift karke Turbo diesel ke tarah chalane se decent mileage aa jati hai.
We have purchased the same model few days back this is just Good Features MUV in category of Suzuki Ertiga. Nothing spl. Don't compare with Innova Safari Harrier Hector XUV 700 .. This is just a normal MUV , you can say a new version of Ertiga. It's simple. Koi toofan naa hai.. 2000km chala chuka hu. Theek hai small family trip with 7 person ya normal loading ke liye. But car is good no doubt. New technology hai.
Looking at seats n comfort, looking thin n flat rear seats like ecco quite low budget, shouldn’t compare with XL6, that car still looks far premium family car.
True and I compared this car to Xl6, Kia looks funny from the front and is very bumpy. Also don’t think it’s in same price bracket(they don’t offer anything in base) kia is expensive, and if you look at the features apart from wireless CarPlay nothing more is there(talking about practical and daily used features not shit which is useless after purchasing) point mileage, what kia diesel offer, Xl6 has more on petrol practically. Happily booked Xl6

This issue is resolved by an ECU Update. Kia released the ECU software Nov 2022.

There is lag in inclines with 1.4 T petrol manual version till now no resolution from @KIA
Turbo Petrol ko drive karne ka system thoda alag rehta hai.
Make sure you aren't revving the engine past 2500 RPM.
Short shift karke Turbo diesel ke tarah chalane se decent mileage aa jati hai.
Mileage depends on driving dynamics. For me same 1.4L turbo is giving 15-16Km of Avg. mileage.
I agree, I am getting 12-13 in city from my 1.4 GDi and 17-18 on highway
We have purchased the same model few days back this is just Good Features MUV in category of Suzuki Ertiga. Nothing spl. Don't compare with Innova Safari Harrier Hector XUV 700 .. This is just a normal MUV , you can say a new version of Ertiga. It's simple. Koi toofan naa hai.. 2000km chala chuka hu. Theek hai small family trip with 7 person ya normal loading ke liye. But car is good no doubt. New technology hai.

Looking at seats n comfort, looking thin n flat rear seats like ecco quite low budget, shouldn’t compare with XL6, that car still looks far premium family car.
True and I compared this car to Xl6, Kia looks funny from the front and is very bumpy.
Also don’t think it’s in same price bracket(they don’t offer anything in base) kia is expensive, and if you look at the features apart from wireless CarPlay nothing more is there(talking about practical and daily used features not shit which is useless after purchasing)
point mileage, what kia diesel offer, Xl6 has more on petrol practically.
