- Car had issues cranking. Battery was looked at. Terminals were cleaned. Battery was given a boost. Still had the same problem. Car has full power. Remote worked. Power windows, battery, blower motor, dash lights all worked fine.

I am extremely confused Did you tell us how to fix it and I missed it? What is this video about because I have this same problem and it looks like title of your video was saying you fixed it but I didn't see what the fix was. Any help?
He had a no crank, no start, situation. He heard a clicking sound when he turned the ignition to the start position. This is a classic symptom of a bad starter solenoid, bad starter (which includes a new solenoid), a low battery or a bad relay. If he had a cheap DVOM, he could have tested voltage, at the starter, which on this vehicle is at the solenoid. He determined after this video that he had a bad starter.
Try not to buy a reman starter and shop for a new AC Delco starter.

Thank you for sharing your problem with ur Cadillac truck , I have a 2008 ,and recently having the same problem, the dealer charge the starter for me like 7 years ago because it was under warranty, I am going to get the starter from the dealer

Does your 08 have the DOD (displacement on demand)/AFM (active fuel management)system??? Also how many miles does it have and have you had any other problems????

Wow that engine compartment looks like it’s on the showroom floor. On other note been trying to fix this problem for over a year now on mine . Progressively got worse and more frequentl and then I gave up and it’s been sitting. Won’t to try again to sell. Driving me fukin crazy
Same thing happened to me i have replaced the whole fuse box brand new battery now I can’t get it to stay running long enough to get it to shop to replace starter my mechanic said it’s the ecm or starter oh also replaced the throttle body because it kept saying low power
