  • In this Biology lab, we will turn our attention to an aquatic vertebrate-the perch. After examining its external anatomy, we will dissect the perch to study its internal anatomy. We will learn how the perch was created with specific features to help it survive in its aquatic environment.

    I like that she says that the eyes and other parts were specifically designed for that purpose. I'm not sure if that's how she meant to say it, but she's saying, in a way, that there was a creator.

    I am a kid that likes fishing and marine biology though this comment has nothing to do with that I went fishing with my fam yesterday and caught a perch in the eye we had to put it out of its misery.i ended up dissecting it only a few minutes after it was killed honestly it was fun I popped it's eyes and found bead-like things in them it was cool. I also took It's gills out didn't know the gill structure was called gill filaments

      I feel the same way! But I think that could make you an amazing marine biologist. If you care about them so deeply, you'll respect them do everything you can to avoid hurting them, which is beautiful.

    • @lucasmachain
      @lucasmachain 3 роки тому +1

      Why would someone that study animals say something like that knowing that cladistics, phylogenetics, fossil records and so on clearly point to natural selection as mean of adaptations consequence of the evolutive process.... like I really understand the need to include your favorite religion on it but you can simply say that god started the world and from it itself developed into what we know letting living organisim evolve in more adapted ones following the simple laws of the universe .... instead of just lying

    • @daisymurfey5625
      @daisymurfey5625 3 роки тому +6

      @@lucasmachain see, what you are missing is that there are two kinds of evolution. The first is Evolution withan uppercase E as in the theory of. This includes kinds of animals eventually Evolving into other kinds of animals ie dinosaurs into birds. The other kind of evolution is with a small e, this encompasses natural selection as in the finches Darwin documented in the Galapagos. They adapted into individual and distinct species with unique characteristics for their specific lifestyle like curved beaks, shorter but broader wings, or different diets. Stuff like that. Now here is where another round of definitions is in order. You may have heard kind and species used interchangeably in the past, but in this case they are different. Kind is much broader term, an example would be horses Percherons and Clydesdales are both of horse kind but they are different species. I hope to have made this clear because it's the basis of confusion for a lot of people. We have no problem with evolution small e. We believe God created animals in kinds (horse kind, dog kind, etc.) with the necessary DNA to adapt to their circumstances and surroundings. I hope to have answered your question and am happy to answer any other questions you might have. Have a nice day!
