Thank you for another informative video! I have one comment - I think that the structures noted as the “seminal receptacles” are actually the “seminal vesicles” which produce sperm. The seminal receptacles are the smaller female organs that store sperm, if I am not mistaken.
The reproductive organs of the earthworm are difficult to see and sometimes harder to distinguish. Both the seminal vesicles and the seminal receptacles store sperm. Seminal vesicles store sperm produced by the testes. They are the tiny white organs just beneath the testes. We did not mention them in this video because they are hard to see. The seminal receptacles are larger organs and easier to see. They store sperm received from another earthworm and hold them until the worm is ready to release the eggs. I hope this helps.
