Hi , I am aspiring to pursue Msc in Management (MiM) from UK. I completed my undergraduate in the year 2017 and worked mostly in Customer Care and Digital Marketing after that. There are gaps in my Work Experience which are mostly scattered in different job roles. I am currently 29 and I wish to start a full fledged career in the management sector since managerial roles were something I always aspired to work for but the growth opportunities in my working sector were limited and not aligned completely to the Managerial aspect and hence I ended up in mostly entry level or level 2 roles only. Considering my Work experience and also the financial commitments with the traditional MBA, I would like to know if it will be a good option for me to start my career with an Msc in Management at the age 29. I'd really appreciate your inputs on this.
Hello Farhan, I have seen a few people in my batch who joined MiM at the edge of 28 and one was even 32. I would say MBA is only relevant if the relevant work experience is over 5 years if not, you can feel like odd man out while networking plus it is super expensive. I would say while enrolling in MSc in Management, have a look on jobs beforehand as you will not be able to apply for graduate traineeships. Also, your classmates would be younger so you will have to keep an open mind while enjoying with them :)
Thanks for sharing. Could you please make a video throwing light on other field's masters like for Commerce, Arts and job opportunities associated with them in Belgium?
Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll surely add it in my to do list😊 Meanwhile you can also refer another video of mine where I talked about how I try to look for scope of a specific field at different countries/locations.
Firstly, congratulations and all the best for your journey in Leuven 👍 Sadly I have not connected any of my social media to my UA-cam atm, but in case if you have any specific questions feel free to post it here and I will try to answer :)
Hi Srisai, I don’t check my mails often, but have any specific questions, you can always put it in the comments. If somebody else has similar questions then it becomes visible to them as well :)
Firstly thank a lot for providing us with such helpful content and if you don't mind can you please share your social media Handel or how can I connect with you. Thanks in advance
