I actually like seeing Rick and chum bonding. Even over something like clothes. Rick has always seemed mad at chum or making fun of him for one reason or another. To hear him praise chum for, well, anything really, makes me happy.
Even though they played in Pontiac, Pontiac was always considered the Detroit market. Just like on the shirt they have the Chicago and Largo dates. The Stones actually played in Rosemont IL (Rosemont Horizon back then - 18 miles from downtown)for those dates and they played in Landover MD not Largo MD. I actually was at the last “Chicago” show on 11/25 and have the same shirt however I have worn mine back in the day. Still have my ticket stub too. Both in great shape.
If I kept every concert t shirt I bought and never worn them, I'd be sitting on a gold mine... And ticket stubs...Most of my stubs would be for concerts I spent less than $10 to see...Pink Floyd, the Who, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Kiss (my first concert,) the Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd...

Dude you can make a fortune out of some thrift stores not to mention trash. Especially if you luck into say a tee shirt while Marilyn Manson was a local band. Or Alice in Chains. I found a Jesus Lizard shirt it was cool so I wore it guy walks up and starts offering me a ton of cash. Yeah weird 80s and 90s bands obscure stuff. This thrift store took any old tee shirt sent them to be shredded I told them they were wasting money they didn't care.
I wonder if a Who concert shirt from ‘78 or earlier, picturing Keith Moon, might be worth more than the ‘82 shirt. I think that when most people think of The Who, they think of approximately the 69-78 era, with the long hair and Keith wailing away on drums...they don’t think of them with an early ‘80s short hair look, and they definitely don’t think of Kenney Jones on drums.
Goes to restaurant that will be $20 Rick: Best I can do is $5 and I'm taking all the risk. I can burn my tongue, I can choke, or it might not taste good.
Pretty sure my dad was at both those shows in New York. The Who show was at Shea Stadium with David Johansen, former lead singer of The New York Dolls and The Clash opening. The Stones show in Syracuse was at the Carrier Dome with The Henry Paul Band and Molly Hatchet.
Why did they add the part where the “expert” came in... the seller just ignored everything he said and said the same price, that wasn’t an expert that was some dude who knows about now days trends.
Yeah the "expert" is those guys at the store you ask "can i talk to your manager" instead because he looks like he's only been working at the store for a few weeks.
