glad to see my favorite group back killing it.
I live in a touristy SoCal beach town where there's hardly any hip hop and we got one little live club downtown. A few years back Swollen Members came to play and they were mad disappointed to see the tiny place and the pitiful crowd. I overheard Madchild grumbling about the shitty gig. But little by little the place filled up, and by the time they were halfway through the set, he was saying how much he "loved these intimate shows". We brought the house down with sheer enthusiasm, it was great, and the more the crowd hyped the better the Members got. A memorable night for sure.
What a cool story, thanks for sharing! An audience is oxygen to a band like Swollen Members, and if we're not there, what's the point?!
