Beautifully done, a fantastic blend of old and new castle with an abundance of charm and character. One of the best uses of an old raised baseplate I’ve ever seen.
Thank you 😊
Just getting back into Lego a bit probably 7 years after I stopped building. Distinctly remember seeing that baseplate floating around in my childhood, so much nostalgia. Seeing that thumbnail and how beautifully built the castle is makes me want to go out and buy this set and find that baseplate, well done
The attention to detail and the blend of historically accurate features is very welcome, very cool MOC
Thank you so much.
Love this build, absolutely makes me want the old base plates back.
I really like seeing old base plates incorporated into new designs
I had the old castle kit that base came from. It's amazing to see what someone with these kind of building skills can do with creating a more advanced castle set on it! Wow!
Man, your MOCs are really something else. Would be really exciting to see a mod of the new 10305 castle made by you
i really appreciate how this video is recorded piece by piece so i could copy the build if i wanted… which i certainly may just do. great moc !!!
I hope lego brings back the classic pirate and castle themes for yearly waves like they used too. If they did, you could do more of these great upgrade moc videos. These video ideas are genius and affordable.
Love the build! What I also love is the *companion build* that only appears for 3 seconds at the end. It deserves some love! A smaller side shack like that is great for castle worldbuilding. I have 3 sets ready to build one of the Rebrickable. Def want to see your 3 set as well!Hoping to turn extra pieces into something cool to go with stuff like my double-sized Blacksmith, an amazing piece that can setup over 20 minifigs. Want to eventually do a MILS plate setup to take to conventions, maybe connect to other builders. Any designer would love to work with you on a convention build. Your MOCs with a good landscape artist would be a show stealer.
Totally awesome build ! This reminded my childhood, I Moced the castle with this baseplate so many times and my mother told stories about knighthood with it, good memories!
Nice to hear that. 😊
Okay, yeah that is amazing!! Well done!
Charming castle. The blue slopes for the roof give it a rather retro 1990s feel.
Fantastic MOC! I love the use of the raised baseplate.
He does everything with just one hand !
its so satisfying watching it getting built and the build itself looks really amazing
Great work. I would prefer a base that would still allow for the water mill, as that is a key feature for the Medieval atmos of the set imo, but I love your castle and I especially love that you stick to bricks from the same set, that is the ultimate moc style for me.
Thank you 😊 x3 will be next 😁
@@MOCYOURBRICKs i will buy 3 of them without breaking a sweat when that drops
Amazing! Using the ramp raised baseplate is a great idea. I subbed.
Thank you 😊
Excellent video and awesome build, looks absolutely incredible!
Thank you 😊
I love it MOC
Music's really giving me Knights & Merchants vibes. Also; stellar work mate!
this cut straight to my nostalgia synapses
Now that is fantastic!
Why is this not a lego set it is so cool great work👍
Also great creativity it must have been hard to make
Thank you 😊
I think the tall tower section is cheesy, but I LOVE how you incorporated the baseplate into this. Makes me want to pick up a few of these sets and baseplate and build this model. Great job!
I don’t see what’s cheesy about the tower? I quite like this build.
@@briangallagher3106 I just mean it looks tacked on and doesn't seem realistic. Looks like it would break off and fall down the cliff in real life.
🤣🤣
your work and this castle is still a success, it gave me the idea of making a castle with 2 sets 10305, well I admit it's not me who pays I'm just giving the idea, but it has construction potential , keep up the good work!
Omg so epic i love this Baseplate from my 6082. 😍
Thank you 😊 yes, I love that baseplate as well.
Great Job! Adding a raised baseplate always adds to the fun!
Hard to get one though - but I got you covered ;)
Great video great idea, however because I live in France in a castle I must do something bigger and better, but thank you for the video!
The toilet paper in the bathroom does it for me 😂
Excellent build and video!
Thank you 😊
Really cool build man!
Lovely done!
I do have this baseplate as well. Boy, those were awesome...
So sad that LEGO abandoned the theme.
Its fantastic
Beautifully Donald.
Very nice sets
Thank you 😊
I also invite you to subscribe, watch and comment on the channel

Nice !
Thank you 😊
Magnificent build, new sub well earned!
great job, i like brick connection sound
Thank you 😊
This is goddamm good!
Thank you 😊
Gorgeous!
Thank you 😊
I so so wish they would just sell these baseplates separately somewhere, so retro fans can have that choice without having to go on an ebay adventure and hope there's no cracks
I need to put lights into it now
This is basicly the perfect castle
Thank you 😊
Too bad about the water wheel. Wish there was a way to make a hinged wall, to see the small details in the courtyard. Either way, it looks fun, love the build!
Reminds me heavily of the Blocklands castle save
Could you do more mocs using old raised baseplate? Great moc 👍
Yeah sure, thank you so much. There will be another x3 set to build
@@MOCYOURBRICKs How is the x3 MOC coming?
Man. I just picked up this exact baseplate and 1 of the 3in1 castles from my local used lego store this past weekend and stumbled upon this video today. How much do you think can be built with just 1 copy of the 3in1 castle?
This is a wonderful creation, my son immediately requested I take his castle apart and build this one for him 😂
Haha, hope your son love it.
Please straighten those 1x pieces so the sides line up.
so beautiful!! the base plate make me nostalgic :)
Thank you 😊
Very nice job!
Thank you 😊
Wow!
Love the mix of old castle look with new pieces, brilliant use of the ramped baseplate! Well done... and I really really love your ship building techniques, looking forward to seeing more of those videos as well.
Thank you 😊
Great build where did you find the music?
Wow! How long did the filming and editing take? Well done!
Around 5 days.
@@MOCYOURBRICKs It turned out fantastic! I knew it had to be a long time but wow!
WOW!!
Wow interesting Lego fans be like yeayyy 😲😎😁✌️
Thank you 😊
It’s like castle el dorado
Is this your design? I assume it isn't, because of the insane hard work that would go into designing this yourself. What you would need to have done, is first build your MOC in the first place, then take it all apart again, only to rebuild it in such a way that we can all see it being put together in a clear way. Insane work my friend, if you have done this! So much more effort is behind this than everyone would otherwise realise.
Yes, It is my work, just combined 2sets and redesign some of the section but mainly Lego original designed.
those old elevated platforms have not aged well
Hello! Can you to tell the article (of the green plate) please?
i might be mistaken, but isnt the background music from the first south park game playing at 14:30 ... maybe even on8 the whole clip?
Wow
I wonder if there will a version with the 3d-baseplate of [6091-1 set King Leo's Castle] ?
Is the a lot of leftover bricks?
Very interesting. Is this the old King's Mountain Fortress baseplate you're using?
Yeah but can it play Crysis? Na just joking, looks great!
Super 👍😃
Thank you 😊
Excelente!
Thank you 😊
Building this made me realize I messed up too many dark and light tan plates had to go back and modify my castle
is there printable instructions for this build? I have built this set but this build would be cool.
Are the instructions for this MOC available?
These builds look cool, but look like a slight breeze would break them.
Thank you 😊
MACHICOLATIONS!!!!!!
So will you do a 3x medieval set?
Yes, pls stay tuned
@@MOCYOURBRICKs oh yes i will
@@MOCYOURBRICKs soo any update on the 3x set? 😄
How has Lego not hired you?
Can you do LEGO Haunted House (10273)
I will try.
hello, how can I purchase the instructions for this wonderful upgrade?
its for free. Slow down the videospeed. Have fun to build it.
Yep, Can build from that way. 😅 have fun
Plase Could do the Licorne ship from the series and movie The Adventures of Tintin!???? 🛐🛐🛐
Thank you for the idea. Love that ship as wl.
upgrade?
Built from 2 sets of 31120.
Instructions?
The video is the instruction 😅
A bit hard to play with
No offense, but you're acting like those raised baseplates are easy to come by
So much plagiats.
Construction is great but using old 3d plate with very simple printing is imao not good idea.
I dont have enough bricks to build the base like this.
Just what I needed. I have two sets at home because I wanted to build a moc some day. And I still have a raised baseplate from when I was a kid.
Where exactly can I bus the instructions?
It's a custom moc with over 300$ in parts so I doubt he's made paper instructions if that's what you mean, but if you adjust the video speed you can easily build along!
@@rileycarriere3684 I thought about digital instructions like on redbrickable for example. There are a lot of people who sell instructions for their mocs. But I already read in another comment that he doesn't sell instructions for this moc.
Well done. My kid would love this. To bad they don't make the base plates anymore. I'd otherwise be all in on this.
Yeah, really love the base plate.
You can easily get vintage parts like this on the aftermarket. I don't think this baseplate should break the bank. Look on bricklink and make it happen! :)
Could you do more mocs using old raised baseplate? Great moc 👍
Sure.
@@MOCYOURBRICKs cool I can't wait
The bathroom!!!!! None of these builds ever have bathrooms. BRILLIANT addition!
Long live the Black Falcons!!!! This is pretty cool though... love the mash between old and new here.
Thank you 😊
Nice!
I want this castle so bad
beyond perfect
I built it
Very impresive build, love it.
Where can i find the instructions for building this castle?
Be well and thank you.
