Definitely! Always on the lookout for water landings now! Just need to really make sure you don’t become tangled in your wing, it becomes absurdly heavy when the cells fill with water.
Thanks man! I learned from a mentor in Sun Valley, ID. The best way to get into it is find a paragliding school where you can learn the basics and find a flying community to start flying with!
@@charliewoods577 There is no official school in Sun Valley. The closest is outside Boise or Salt Lake. I think a beginner course is usually around 1600-2000$. Send me a private message through my facebook page and I can help you out! facebook.com/dunningvideo
You can't make it all the way to the top, but if you drive out the Laurel Lakes RD you can cut 1600 vert off the climb. I want to come back for this one!
That's my brother's wing. He cut the loops out of the trimmers so they can't get caught on a GoPro, which has happened a few times. They still operate the same except when you close them you don't have a loop to pull, just have to use friction and pull the webbing.
Such a sick video. Shows that if you are willing to land in water, you can fly in a lot more places!

thanks! How much does it cost in Sun valley? I’m in Rexburg, ID and really interested, and it looks like that’s the closest place to learn for me.

Do you think a Polaris RZR would make it all the way to the top?
