I love the tune in your video! Very nicely done! Glad to see someone else using a pallet. The plastic ones are great. Wood is good! Oil is too high. God Bless America! MT
I've looked at several of these round stack videos. This is the best so far. It's interesting how he sets the first row of interior splits vertical and neatly places the rest of the center wood flat as he builds up the outer circle.
People have actually compared the two. Some say this way and others say row stacking. I like this way as I watch because it’s unique to look at and appears to only take up a small area compared to row stacking
This is not hard work when you no need to move wood. Best way is to process wood in place where you put holzhaus. You stack lowest ring and then processed wood you throw intro circle. If it's too much in circle you stack circle higher and higher. Put wood inside and stack up, and so on. You think it's so good for drying? But my biggest question isn't great for long term storage? This is what interests me mostly.
Or, The wheels on the bus, or, You spin me around "Dead or Alive" or, enjoy the demonstration. Lot's of good information to build a Holz Hausen (Holz Miete).
No. You fill them in with the odd size cuts. I’ve also seen pvc pipes up the middle to chimney effect the air to speed up drying. My neighbors are Russian and they stack wood only this way. Looks great

Nice job! I do 2 rows, an outer and an inner but your palletts are very nice.
Απίστευτη δουλειά. μπράβο φίλε μου και τελοια μουσική. Προτος
Build it next to your wood pile next time lol
Tom, how much wood would you estimate is in the one you built in this video? Are you Lithuanian? Anyway, I'm Tom also and part Lithuanian.
My children loved to do this with artistic leeway.
Beautiful except plastic pallets 🤢
Nice tunes
Just curious..why does it dry better this way, then if you just left it loose laid in the pile until you put it in the woodshed?

Dobra robota, good job

Sure looks good though. I would imagine it’s long lasting especially with the plastic pallets with holes underneath.
2-3 years top. After 1 year u could move it to covered space ( i.e shed) to dry it completely
how much wood does that stack hold?
Try Aerosmith's " 'Round and 'Round" for the sound track-

the music ruined the video
music choice works for me...so does the demonstration. Thanks Ton for sharing.
why would you bother?
I thought round stacks were supposed to be hollow?
