Still Bill after all these years.. went to boarding school with him in Massachusetts.. graduated in '68.. had a drink or three with him a few years ago.. bill will always be Bill
Hey. We talked to you before the show last Friday in Clarksdale. Couple from Oregon. Just wanted to tell you we enjoyed the show. Left at 9. Had to get back to Oxford. We caught a flight the next morning. Anyway good job. Your rhythm section was right there, held it down. Until next time God bless
Real deal right there. The voice , the story, the technique and a fine band back there. When a Stix man holds onto his cigarette like that you know it's all gonna be right in the pocket.
Watermelon it’s always a pleasure to Hear you make music whether in this performance or when we would sit with a Doobie on the back porch with my dad and you just break out in song it’s always been a pleasure keep it up
These are Bluesmen of a different caliber, they've had hart times but know how to handle them. Great work and the 13/16 socket works like magic. I'm totally impress, actually blown away.
Poor bastard! Went too young. He doesn't look that old (well the vid is 7 years old I suppose). I checked out his obituary was born in 1959. Yeah too young.
Looks like a 13/16s socket he has for his slide, perfect size!! LoL,, I got to jam with Watermelon once @ Reds in Clarksdale Ms. The Crossroads. It was quite an experience I must say.
hot damn Tijuana! they just don't grow REAL bluesmen like this anymore.....who said no one from Oklahoma could jam the blues ? check out the drummer....he blues cool

Thank God for the Blues.....
These guys are great. Just loaded them to my playlist.
Have known Bill since we would smoke cigars at R&K Cigars in Oklahoma City. He’s a great guy!
Great blues man, great guitar tune, very good music, and very good band members too, the music is too wonderful.
This cat is off the hook! Saw them several times and always a great show.
And using a spark plug socket is amazing!
Bill and I go back to Boston/Cambridge VVAW days! Many stories!

The bassist, Cliff Belcher passed away this month. May his memory be a blessing to all who love the Blues.

God Bless Him
Sorry, but we all have the same exit
Great blues man and wonderful blues music.
Saw Watermelon at the Chautauqua Hills Blues festival in Kansas a few years back. He put on a great show! These guys are showmen!

Прекрасная блюзовая команда,браво.
Óriási fazonok, szuper zene, köszönet a Kobucinak hallhattam őket....
Great tune, great vibe. Also, that is an impressively long ash that drummer is managing to hang on to.
That’s my uncle ronnie mack the guitarist! Coolest and slickest dude i know:)
Does he still play?
Genuine blues is alive here now.

🇹🇷
Sad the guitarist possibly shot and killed his daughter after molesting her for years......
This comment only drags down the band. Ronnie is no longer with Slim. It would be good if you remove it.
