I would love a comprehensive guide on enemy overhauls, encounter zones, better fighting AI, and maybe the use of synthesis for stuff like True Unleveled Skyrim.
You should make a mod list for Xbox I've been struggling to make a good load order that looks like your stuff for a while and I like to see what mods you think should be a great load order
I mean, that I can understand. What I don't understand is why you want mods to make the game easier. Quality of life mods like Lecacy of the Dragonborn, that's a different story as it adds in a valid way to actually keep track of your inventory, adds a shitload of new content, and is just pleasant to play all around. But having a mod that lets you remember lockpick angle? Is it that friggn hard for you? Clearly this guy has a total melee bias, so I would expect anything that isn't smash attack button confuses and frightens him. But it's going a little overboard in a lot of places. Honestly, the best mods are simply the ones that add in more content. Especially voiced content. Maybe change up the spell and perk list. Granted the mods that do that most times go overboard or make perks that are totally useless. But the vanilla perks are kinda played out. Either way, I'm just finishing up my first play through on Enderal and it's pretty impressive what people can do when they just want to make a better game and not tweak shit here and there so certain things are less annoying. Especially a fan of the their hardest difficulty setting that made the first part of the game absolute hell being that everything would just 1-shot me if I wasn't carefully using the environment to prevent it.
Fondly remembering when Redshift was a small channel with only a hundred or so subscribers. I left for a few months and all of a sudden they've got over 26k subs, getting sponsorships and everything! Of course, still showing off the best mods Skyrim has to offer.

A couple small ones I find a lot better. The comprehensive follower overhaul allows you to move followers not in your party to live in your player homes, mark them essential, call active followers (no more stuck or lost followers) and collective storage. Combined with the “more enemies” overhaul (the simple one that just adds mobs from the encounter table) you have more of a party game, if you like. Weapon speed increases everyone’s attack speed to something that is more true to life. Sekiro blocking makes blocking matter. Renders a few perks irrelevant but combined with a dodge mod combat finally makes sense. Elden beast with animated armory (no animations) is good for console… I wish I remembered the name but there is a mod that adds smithing improved armor to all loot tables. This makes scaling make a lot more sense…like soooo much more sense, especially if you use any mods that remove or reduce level scaling. If you add throwing weapons, it’s even better. Realistic AI detection nerfs stealth archer. It still works, but it’ll force you back into the games other systems to win a lot of fights. Coupled with some combination of realistic lighting, again, sneaking just works better. You actually have to hide in shadows to make it work. I couple this with a sustain magic mod that makes magika important again, even if you build a tank…makes RP more viable. Oh yeah, IF you use lux…ENB and IA 92s crispy lights work great. I’m an ELFX shadows guy, but if you don’t run a ton of interior alterations, or a solid with patches, it’s a great combo. Incoherent rant to the void complete.

Beastly Beastmen is one of my favorites. Changed appearance of Khajit and argonians too a more realistic design instead of human body lizard or cat head
I’d argue a few of these are more subjective if anything. Mainly, the Visual changes like Lux, Visual Animated Enchants, Xavbio’s Armors, No Camera Filters, JS Dragon Claws, High Poly Heads, Daedric Shrines, FleshFX, Enviorns. If you wanted vanilla plus lighting for interiors ELFX is a better option to maintain vanilla aesthetics. - Instantly skip dialog
- Precision
- Lightened Skyrim
- Compass navigation overhaul
- Skyrim engine fixes
what is your 1st person animation? Thanks for the mod recommendations as always!
The comprehensive first person overhaul
Usually when I watch videos like this i dont end up wanting many of the mods, but there were only like 2 or 3 mods in this video that i didn’t want or didn’t already have.
Maybe it's been discussed in another video but what is the mod that changes the NPCs and the main character textures and model, it's not just Bits and Pieces Skin and High Poly Head surely.
