No doubt, getting things together for a custom can sometimes be a gamble. But, as you said, the second head you showed looks like it's going to work great for a custom👍👊🤘

Would the smaller head fit on the smaller Remco awa bodies since sometimes the awa bodies look a little thinner
The Remco AWW bodies are the same. The only difference is the waist/crotch area. The arms are cuffless, but other than that, there’s no difference

The heads should work on a super 7 figure. I am not sure if the peg hole is the same size or not, but the heads are relatively close in size
What type of paint do use on them?
I use Vallejo paints.
