Your First Spring and Summer: Introduction to Beekeeping

This presentation in the series "Introduction to Beekeeping: Your First Year" reviews the management of your bees during their first spring and summer.
I explain the goals of your first year including making sure that your hive has everything the bees need; that the bees are well-fed though out the season; the queen is healthy and laying lots of eggs; and the bees are healthy, without disease or parasites.
I will cover late summer and autumn preparations for overwintering in another presentation.
