The Balboa O3Zone Ozone generator teardown.

These nifty little devices generate ozone to keep your hot tub sanitary. Perfectly safe - if you install them exactly as the manufacturer states, above the tub water line, and in the correct orientation with the intake hole orientated downwards. My only concern regarding safety on this device would be that it is potentially very dangerous if installed incorrectly. Never underestimate human stupidity.

When I saw ozone generator, I thought it was going to be one of those things that generates ozone to pump it into a room for "health benefits."

The tube has now been removed for proper disposal. I shall give it to someone I know who shall then covertly place it into their workplace's hazardous materials disposal box.
