    Hey Tim, this video helped me out greatly, thank you! One thing I wanted to mention for anyone else who might run into this, if Z2M fails to start you may need to add adapter: zstack under the port in the serial config. My Z2M wouldn't start without that.

      Hey Sam - Thanks very much, glad it helped you out. Interesting about the 'adapter: zstack' having to be added and certainly a good tip to try if something doesn't work.
      With so many updates with things in HA, I wonder if it's sometimes good to do a fresh restart/reconfig at times, of course depends on how large your smart home is of course otherwise it could take days to reconfig.
      Alway a good tip for anyone though, do full backups both before and after doing any changes, adding devices or reconfiguring things in HA, it makes it so easy to roll back if any issues occur! And yes I do forget at times and have ended up having to reset.

    Hey, did you notice freezing of the SMLight SLZ 06 (every versions) Coordinator since few weeks ?
    Looks like there is an issue with the WebUI. It causes freezes of the coordinator after several hours/days (zigbee devices are not reachable, and WebUI is Ko). A reboot of the coordinator makes it work again.
    They still don’t know if it comes from HA integration, SMLight firmware (core or Zigbee).

      Umm very odd, to be honest I've not had any issues with the coordinator linking to Home Assistant and my smart bulbs (zigbee ones) are working ok with their timers, but I've just literally checked the web interface and it takes ages to load and when it does (partly!) it just puts random text up on the screen after about 5 minutes, so no the web interface does not load properly, very odd! More investigation needed I think and more research!
      Keep us all updated if you find out anything yourself, would be great thanks
      😕👍

    You are making amazing video content. I just watched the video and your video quality is appreciable. I am so impressed by your content, I was analyzing your channel and noticed that You are struggling with video views and video ranking. May I share some tips on how you can achieve your goals?

    The tutorial is very detailed, for everyone's understanding, except that I encountered a problem: "Failed to install add-on
    'AddonManager.install' blocked from execution, system is not healthy - supervisor". Would you like to help me?

      Hi, you're very welcome. I would suggest posting a comment on the Home Assistant Community Forum as I have never come across this before.
      However I did have a quick search and someone is saying to change your DNS Servers on your Router to either 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and not to use your ISP DNS servers. Then restart home assistant after changing them and it seemed to fix it for them.
      Let me know how you get on ?

      @@MrTimTech2022 Wasn't DNS the issue. I have Nabu Casa connection. I've connected with old domain and it works.

      Do you have plans to install or make a video on your Sonoff Zigbee dongle?
      Thanks!

    I have a problem with my slzb 06 loses IP address at all the times, how to fix it?

    • @MrTimTech2022
      @MrTimTech2022  Місяць тому

      Hey, That's really odd I certainly haven't encountered that issue myself but thinking about what it could be...
      Have you tried accessing the SLZB web interface page and setting the IP address to static ?
      Just set it's IP address to what it currently is at the time you're accessing the webpage for it.
      It might also be something to do with the PoE power it's pulling, make sure your PoE switch has enough power left to power it, check the PoE limit and how much your other devices are using ?
      Let me know how you get on

      @MrTimTech2022 @MrTimTech2022 Hi, thanks for the response and the advice I will look into it, but I prefer to connect zigbee coordinator to raspberr or another host, same way as ZHA, I think is more stable than connecting to POE, but I'm not sure it's possible, have you try that way?

    • @MrTimTech2022
      @MrTimTech2022  Місяць тому

      @@tomaszmiekina801 Thanks for the update, understood, I'm not really a fan of Raspberry Pi's to be honest but each to their own and they are good pieces of kit, just a personal choice with me. Maybe try PoE and see how you get on, mine is pretty stable when PoE connected. I wonder if USB power is dropping or going in to power saving mode at some point.
      Hope you get it resolved, keep us updated if you would
