This is a good video, I live in the Metro Vancouver Canada area , we seem to have a few bucket brigades over the years putting Bass and Black crappies into our Salmon , Trout waters , The crappies seem to do well in the lakes and sloughs as well as the bass , Only a few people target them , I am thinking of trying this summer so learning what you use helps

That print of the three trebles is very nice. I'm guessing "Triple Treble Trouble"... pps... It has to be difficult to create a unique crappie catch and cook, at this point, but you did it.
26:32 when you are deep frying there is a barrier between the food and the oil. That is why you preheat the oil hot enough to instantly make steam when water touches it. If the oil is to cold it saterates the food. Yukk. Iafter browning if you double dip the oil will saterate if you flip it back over the oil will saturate. You want lay the fillet in the oil with out dunking it. Cook it until 55% done then flip it and cook the other 45%. Do not flip it early and once it does flip do not flip it back. The barrier it already burnt up it will just start soaking up oil. I know you love crappie. You fish em like a pro. I just want you to enjoy them like a pro too.
The spawn is late this yeah here up in Texas panhandle we're about a month behind where we were last year those late winter cold snaps made the crappie bite slow . I hope next week they will start moving up

Can't go wrong with shallow frying golden crispy goodness. You don't waste as much oil. Leave it to LFG to deal out the tasty treats.
