  • Welcome to Moose River Campground and RV Park, in St. Johnsbury Vermont in the heart of Maple Country! This cozy park is located along the tree-lined Moose River, and many of the sites have riverfront views. The RV Park is big rig friendly, and it has a newly expanded dog park, a laundry room, as well as a store stocked with fun and handy items.
The coffee maker is ready for a free fresh cup of coffee all day long (Green Mountain of course, and Dunkin too), with an inviting porch filled with chairs welcoming you to sit and get the local scoop. Weekend nights are celebrated with a huge bonfire and sometimes country singers. A highlight is free ice cream delivered to your RV! The campground is well run by attentive owners, as well as friendly camp hosts. Picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each campsite, and split firewood is readily available. The grounds are kept immaculate! Please visit their website for all the details.
As they say “We are the perfect place to base yourselves while touring the many attractions in our area. If you come to relax and unwind from the hectic work life, and just want to kick back and watch the river roll by, you will have come to the right place.” We agree! And, they have RVs and a cabin that you can rent, if you are not an RVer.
Area Highlights: The park is located in the midst of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom. In 1949, Governor George Aiken dubbed Vermont’s Northeast corner a “kingdom”, due to the regal beauty of the highlands and valleys, expansive forests, rolling farmland, pristine rivers, and lakes that endow this 1500 square mile sweep of truly beautiful landscape. We’ll be back!
Wait until you see the welcome bag! Please visit their website for all the details.

Another great video and a campground I just added to my Google Maps places I want to go 😊 Last summer I treated myself on my birthday to Alpine Garden Camping Village & Winery not far from this campground. Mt Washington is nearby.
If you're close to Harrison AR the KOA there is a MUST. A mother daughter team has turned it into an award winning KOA. I Love It!

The worst campground I have ever stayed at. The owner Mary is unfriendly and rude. I will never come back to a place that makes you feel unwelcome from the time of check in to the time we left. Apparently the heat of the summer and the recent flooding has set this woman in a terrible mood. There are so many campgrounds to stay at that are by far more welcoming to their guests. The other owner Gary must have said 5 times during our stay if we wanted to buy the campground....obviously they are not enjoying owning the campground like this video shows...
