Montana Cans and Loop Colors are 2 big players on the graffiti market and their products are sold all over the world. So it's not strange that I use their cans almost every time I go out to paint. But what are the differences, and what is the best choice for you? This comparison is based on my own experience, but still I hope I can help you out with this VERSUS video so that you know exactly which one to buy for your next graffiti piece!

Montana Colors (also known as MTN) is from spain and produces the 94 and Hardcore
Montana Cans is from germany and produces the Gold, Black and white cans
GraffitiBloq I think you know that graffiti stuff is not cheap at all nowadays

CHROME test
MOLOTOW BURNER CHROME VS LOOP CHROME VS MONTANA SILVERCHROME VS MTN MEGA PLAT and many others.
- test should be on different Surfaces like Wood, brick, metal, concrate and more
- also on wet surfaces on (wood, brick, metal, concrate)
- drip and dust
- wich one is most "chromeines"
- price comparing with the specs from the tests

mtn maximo 750 ml is my favorite. same size as an ultrawide but has a standard valve so it lasts longer and has a true chrome mirror finish
Never tried Loop but i got to say that i love that standard cap from Montana. So easy to control even for someone new to graffiti.
True! It's a soft fat cap. A normal fat cap would be a disaster for people who are new to using spray paint haha
Montana Black is thick as fuck, need to shake it for 5 minutes get a consistent shade. The pigments are top notch though, but tends to clog up skinny caps. Loop has a fantastic smooth consistency and coverage, BUT...
I have to point out one thing: cold weather performance (+5 degrees and under). Loops don't work in very cold climates, and Montana struggles too due to the thick consistency.
My favorite paint for winter time is Kobra, always consistent, never clogs caps, you get a nice clean edge. Cheap too.

I just got myself a set of Montana black for painting. It dries super quickly. But if I use clear coat it helps it to stay wet so I can mix colors. So much fun. I love art! And all you artists out their. Keep at it! Your amazing!
Some loop colors fades really fast, but cheaper tho.

Loop is like $7-9 a can in the US . Too pricey for me. Ironlak and montana black $4-5 a can all day long
Loops have mixingballs out of glass, so you cant use a silencer.

I love using loop it feels so much better, you should do a spray can tourney knock out cheapest to most expensive and diffrent styles example Montana black and Montana hardcore etc

I’ve primarily used loop unless something has been cheaper, and for the price and how lovely it is to paint with I love it. Not to mention I love the stock tips, most of the things I paint I just use those caps for everything so I’m not swapping them around. Only downside though is I’ve heard and experienced mixed things about loop staying on walls.

I like both but sometimes loop cans have pressure problems and drip pretty hard

Monatana Cans and Monatana colors are 2 different brands. Montana cans is from germany and producing the black and gold series for example. Mtn colors in spain is producing the 94s and hardcore for example

Well, it they used to at least. I grew up with Belton and Multona cans, way better than anything else in Europe in the 90s.

Loop have a little piece of metal and a screw in them i mean for shaking ,cuz chuck says thay have a plastique or other thing but i know right cuz i snap tham every time i use tham , Chuck much respect from Romania👍💪💥

What about the hardware store spray paint (rustoleum, Krylon, etc...) vs dedicated graffiti cans?
I find the loop cans pressure a little too high cause when I do outlines I move very slow witch causes drips in my throwups or pieces but I still prefer loop cause it's probably user error

Montana will also last longer on surfaces such as freights and walls that are thirsty. In chill spots where the sun wont get at it loop is mint, but Ill always take rusto fills and mtn outlines
Rusto definitely stands the test of time compared to other paints .
I like and use both. I prefer Montana Black, but Loop is good too and often cheaper. Doesn’t cover quite as well and doesn’t last as long before fading from what I hear. Seems a bit thinner to me. But still good enough for my needs.

I try white loop and I liked it, but our graffiti shops don't have loops, just montana cans, but most expensive cans...My favourites are MTN 94 and NBQ...cool simple piece aswell :)

I guess it's all about preference and what you like to do mostly. As for me I love writing on shit I'm a tagger what can I say. I'll do throwies here and there or a piece once in a while but for me Loop has never failed me pressure stays the same through the entire life of the can.
I love loop but Montana just fits better since my stuff doesnt hold longer than 2 month anyways and need to come out faster and I just think Montana is faster
i use Dang and loop because its cheaper to get in my area in Canada, and i have to support myself and my niece and nephew...

This was a good video. I always wanted to try loop but they aren't easy to come by around where I'm at. You are right about Montana blacks doing well against the weathering of the wall or train.

Loop is better for legal walls because it doesn’t matter if they fade quickly as someone will paint over you in a few weeks
I feel like loop is better for legal writers because your piece will get covered before it will fade and it has more colors and comes with a outline cap

loop kind off has less because of the thickness. black is thin with great cover.
i can use the magnet trick on loop cans too, i think you just need a strong magnet (atleast with the loop asphalt)
That might be the difference. Asphalt is thicker paint

@@supermarioemulator6487 if you are running away you have more to worry about then rattling cans. When you are out bombing in the middle of the night on a Tuesday the people you walk by are either out doing their own dirt or not going to care. I also know when its late and all you hear is yourself and your climbing up a fire escape or whatever else to hit a rooftop and when you first do it it sounds like your dropping grenades and that your making so much noise . Keep doin it and you will be fine no1 hears you . Do what you want obviously just trying to help .

compare montana hardcore with 94
Mtn 94 low pressure mtn hardcore high pressure is same brand so the rest is pretty much the same

i use both of them!! but i prefer loop most, because of the low pressure and couse they dont smell so much as the montana black

From my experience loop has a strange acetone smell which is not really pleasant and people are walking by and it smells like acetone,but Montana on the other hand smells weird too but... People hardly realise that you ve painted cuz the smell of montana is not that harsh
Ps:loop is a high pressure paint, cuz I ve done a throwup with mtn 94 which is a low pressure can and the loop for the outline and I felt instantly that loop has a higher output(higher pressure)
Yeah The loop cans don't last as long. I think it's because they are under even higher pressure than Montana blacks. Just like Chuck menssioned that The pressure decreases in the black cans towards The end, but The loop cans don't. Take The mtn 94 as a low pressure comparison. I've always felt like they last way longer than other cans. Loop is easily my favourite can. Kinda like a fusion between a Montana black and a Kobra can.

@@gandalf3734 Buy Loop, hardcore is not as hardcore as it sounds. Paint becomes stalles after 1 month.

Try to do black last. White overspray is always the worst!
7:30 Yes, very true, every experienced writer will tell you the same, brighter colors of loop definitely cover better than montana.
9:40 This could be caused by the slightly higher and constant pressure in the loop can. after a while the lower pressure in the montana can leads to lower color output compared to a higher pressure in the can.
10:20 Very important point, i was waiting for you to not mention it and then write it in the comments, but good job my friend! Loop cans contain at least 2 balls, maybe 3, it's hard to hear, but one ball is definitely non-magnetic, while the other one definitely is. I tested it right now, but you are correct, that one loose ball will always be loud, montana cans can be completely silenced by the magnet-method.

i prefer montana black loop are good but it feels like loop they got lower pressure and it just idk but ik loop says it got higher pressure but i feel like montana black got more pressure

Loop has to have the best white on the market, I really like the cap they come with but the Montana Black feel a bit better, thats personal. But the loop has a better can design.

What? Loop is high pressure? In my country loop is what muralist use, or writers for big production pieces, and for that reason I thought it was low pressure, because you know, Street art muralism need low pressure for details... I'm amazed, I bought loop before quarantine (because it was the stock that it was in my neighborhood), and used it just once, with a bomb and a piece, and I didn't noticed the high pressure. Now I'm shock.
Loop has kind of an hybrid valve. It works well with both fat and skinny caps.
Rust oleum are the real winners. Cheap, long lasting, high pressure, helps you develope faster and better an an artist. Anyone can do a thin\thick line with a loop or Montana can and a cap. But can you do it with a rust oleum with a stock tip?
Unfortunately rust oleum isn’t really available in Europe... 😔
