I've been all over youtube looking at reviews on this NV400 today and your reveiw is the best. On one touched on the focus. You showed more in the real life shooting! Great job!
thanks dude! One of the other commenters also really liked how I kept refocusing to get the best out of this thing. The unit is pretty impressive, but you as a shooter have some responsibility, too (proper ranging, focusing, setting up your ballistics properly, level of IR zoom, etc).
Fantastic shooting man and excellent review. I particularly liked the fact that you constantly refocused to get the best image quality. Many of the other reviewers seem to be lazy with that. You pretty much showed the scope in such a way as to fully extract its capabilities, so kudos to you. The only extra thing I would have loved to have seen would be how it performs at night with a top quality IR, not the stock one, otherwise IMHO it's as perfect a review as you could have achieved.👍👍👍
Wow that is a nice thing to say! Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed! You should have seen all the extra fiddling I cut out of this video and it was still a looooong one! Haha. The scope is pretty sweet and I probably have additional things about it to still figure out in terms of actual electronic settings, so stay tuned for some more content with it as time goes on and I learn more about it!
@@airshootistIt sure was a long one, but you made it interesting and captivating enough to warrant watching it the whole way through. Oneleaf have just come out with another variant, the Commander NV400 Eagle 2-26X which would be very useful at much closer range, with a wider field of view for varmint shooting etc. As I understand it, it uses the Sony Starvis 2 sensor, which is an upgrade from the Commander NV400 4-52X, which uses the first generation Sony Starvis Sensor (the Arken Zulus also uses the Sony Starvis 2). It's a much better sensor IMHO. I hope you're given the opportunity to review that sometime but good luck with your YT channel and I look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.😃

I don't see why not. They are impact tested. Also... 2 year warranty!!! Anyway I think you'd be fine using it on a moderately powerful springer, and maybe even an armbreaker... Link is in the description where you can check out all the deets

Ok so big question is, if you have to pick one is it the One Leaf or Arken? I;m looking to get one or the other. I kinda like the ergonomics and button lay out of the One Leaf but I like the size weight and reticle on the Arken.
What is you opinion as far as the information each gives you on screen as you are shooting? Does the Arken have the gyro info as well? Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!! :D
Thanks, king! They are both super dope scopes. They both have gyros. On the Oneleaf I really like the traditional scope style it has. You don't have to mount it as far back and it looks more "normal". Also there is no phone app or Bluetooth connection required to set up your ballistics like there is with the Arken. Only con versus the arken is the NV400 is obviously heavier. IR is better on the NV400. Both good options honestly. Oneleaf did a really nice job with this one. Now I noticed when you range the laser isn’t even close inline with the reticle. Is there something in the scope that we don’t see that tells you where the rangefinder is pointing?? If so did you have to calibrate that ?
Correct. There is an indicator that you move to the position of the laser in the settings.
Does it account for up or down angle?

That thing is an absolute hot pile of garbage at a $700 price point. ATN blows it out of the water
The ATN is double the price once you add in the laser rangefinder and an IR light.

Off the subject but apparently you have reevaluated the Krait 😅
Yes the new ones all come with Huma regs as standard - which fixed the performance issues we saw with the earlier ones. The Krait has become my go-to gun for testing optics because it is so damn accurate and never needs any fiddling with. I literally have NEVER touched the hammer setting. Still the same as it was from the factory. There's a video of me using it at a NRL22 match where I took 3rd with it, if you wanna check that out.
