Me personally I don't believe it's a repackage of Pumpkin Cupcake. They don't smell nothing alike in my opinion. I get more pumpkin spice with Pumpkin Swirl Cake. This is what Pumpkin Cupcake should had been.
This is the same thing i have heard from every other reviewer I've seen...that it's more pumpkin spice and not cake batter/buttercream like Pumpkin Cupcake. I am banking on that because I am not a fan of Cupcake.
@@ashliwemettIt smells like sweet pumpkin spice filling that is swirled into a cake. I also get toffee. Not so much the cake.

Just came from the store. I agree this is not Pumpkin Cupcake to my nose. It doesn't have that strong vanilla cake batter scent that I go gaga over. Does anyone know if the actual Pumpkin Cupcake scent is coming back at all? Disappointed with this collection. 😢

Weird. I put Pumpkin Swirl Cake on my skin with the lotion and spray testers in the store and didn’t get Pumpkin Cupcake at all and I’m real familiar with that scent. Pumpkin Cupcake has always had a weird savory dough note to me that I don’t get in Pumpkin Swirl Cake.

things I love too. ❤ Second, if BBW is going to do repackages, why not do scents we've been hollering for? Seriously, the list of scents we've been requesting is getting so long, while BBW reboots things literally no one asked for. Lol I swear , are companies even reading their socials? or watching customer review channels? That's free RnD.
I have mixed feelings about these "fall" drops right now. I want to start snatching them up but I still have Summer (and Spring!) scents I haven't finished stocking up on. I had a cart full of things like Lakeside Morning, Santorini Coast, some more Bridgertons before they're gone forever, a bunch of wallflowers, and then bam here we go with round ten of new drops. They need to calm down over there, divert some of this attention to bunping up the label art.
And frankly my credit card needs some down time 😄

All I want from bath & body works this year Is a Candy Corn fragrance for Halloween or Carmel Apple for fall it would also be great to get some sort of real Banana fragrance.. bath & body works has been giving us toooo much "Berry whipped vanilla scents" and I want some more unique scents or heavier dark gourmands

I feel like the last 2 years bath & body works has been giving us way too many "versions of champagne toast or strawberry pound cake" seems like all their scents the last 2 years have been berries & whipped vanilla/sugar such they even did the lemon & whipped vanilla
Come on time they switch it up !! I would love some spicy notes, dark scents or candy corns gourmands etc. The candy apple cauldron sounds good but it also sounds like it may be a repackage of that country apple they had did and I hope not !

I do not personally feel this is a repackage. It is slightly different. In fact, it reminds me of Ulta’s pumpkin lotion from a few years back, which I absolutely loved except Ulta was very strong, and this one is not as strong.

The Pumpkin Cinnamon Bun candle showed up in store today. I LOVE lT! Smells amazing!!!! So many people said its NOT a repackage and Pumpkin cupcake had a more cakey note that Pumpkin Swirl cake doesnt have. I cant wait to try it.

It is. Everything coming from bath & body works is a repackage. I smelled Blueberry Bundt Cake and it’s Blueberry sugar pancakes in a new bottle.
@virgosbonnet7896 Maybe that's your opinion, but all reviewers I follow are saying Blueberry Bundt Cake is not a repackage.

Hi Bonnie. I missed you yesterday. Thank you for all you do. FYI I got the gingham glow and I like it. Will see if any other sales this weekend or 4th of July. I did not get any coupons for these scents and did get them for the sale. Weird
Pumpkin swirl cake definitely seems more cinnamon and spice forward than pumpkin cupcake was for me. In the store i wasnt digging it as much as the blueberry one but still grabbed a mini spray to see if maybe on my skin or layered with something else i like it better

Thanks Bonnie for the review! I am disappointed that they decided to package it as “new” scent and it’s a “repackage”. Just bring it back as Pumpkin Cupcake lol! I am happy that Pumpkin Cupcake is back, just wish it was a new scent.
Some folks are saying it's not a repackage, and that it's got spiciness to it, whereas Pumpkin Cupcake does not. I plan on taking my pumpkin mists to the store to sniff myself.

Bonnie have the stores near you put this out already? All the stores by me here in Cincinnati told me they will not be putting those collections out until Monday. I’m worried if we have a body care sale this weekend that I won’t be able to get it around here but I’m more than willing to drive a good distance to get it, especially for a really good price.

Very curious about this. Pumpkin Cupcake has smelled like sour milk to me in the past so I hope this one is different.
The notes might be similar but I do not like pumpkin cupcake at all. It’s sickeningly sweet to me. The new pumpkin swirl cake is so much better! A lot less sugar! I love it. I am so happy it’s different to me.

Oh wow… I can’t believe it’s a repackage! I’m not mad that Pumpkin Cupcake is back, but I really don’t like it when Bath & Body Works repackages a fragrance and slaps a new name on it. 🫤 It seems somewhat deceptive on Bath & Body Works part in my opinion. I do like the packaging of this collection, hoping to see it in a store near me soon. 🤞🏻
