Nice videos as always mga Sir. But you forgot the most important thing to consider in my book when I buy a Car. Airbags and safety features. How is the ride? Matagtag ba or comparable sa ibang MPV. And can you elaborate more sa NVH. Masakit ba sa tainga yung echo sound? Thanks..
I am the Hyundai Stargazer's owner, in Indonesia we have 6 seats variant as the highest variants, and from 3 month of using the car as the daily car, it was pretty impressive, compared to others MPV in the class.
This is why I love AD and Caco reviews(or the like), no BS at all. Pinpoints the things which needs to be pointed out like the huge bezel above the meter cluster, and doesn't exaggerate things at all. Didn't even bother saying the dashboard is futuristic, bc tbh it looks more dated than the former. Just the right amount of praises and adjectives used, this is one spectacular first impressions vid AD. 👌
For the base model you do sacrifice with many stripped-off features, one of the most painful is the mono LCD display-doesn’t come equipped with that lovely 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with Wireless Apple Play and Android Auto.
Pretty good! Powerful engine, cvt, and relatively cheap. Hyundai is a pretty good brand too! Beautiful car. I expect to see more of this vehicle on the roads. 💪
Thanks for this review. We just got one. Excellent car compared to its contemporaries: more safety features with same market price. We are most happy driving it! BTW our previous car was isuzu :)
Obviously you had the shooting the same time as Reygan. But gosh, the difference in quality and hosting is just crazy obvious. Caco is really the king of Car Reviews.
I'd consider this over an Xpander which was my original choice. 7 addtl horses and more torque are a plus. The exterior looks futuristic too and price isnt bad. Just wished there was a sunroof.
Ang galing ng strategy ni Hyundai, commonly 5 seaters ang ginagawang top-of-the-line trim ng mga most car manufacturers pero this one it's the 7 seaters, mas marami nga naman bibili ng 7 seaters since this is a family hauler and since has no manual variant.
What I like about hyundai vehicles is the unique interiors. We do have a toyota as well but i hate it during long trips because the compartments are a mess. I like sorting my things comfortable enough for me when driving. That's what hyundai impresses
That's my impression as well. We have a Fortune and Santa Fe, and the Santa Fe's interior design is more comfortable and a lot easier to "use". A lot roomier too.
Sekarang ini Mobil Nomor satu di Indonesia. It's gonna be the Best selling ever Hyundai in the Philippines. Definitely soon a Long waiting List for the Buying public. Finally Mitsubishi Expander meets its Real Match. PREPARE TO WANT ONE.
I see this car at the mall yesterday and try to enter the cabin, and Its amazing very comfortable and relaxing, much have space and nice leather, and tv at the front seat. This is the future car I think on this generation and Hyundai make it so well. I don't have a car but I know exactly what It's better and pricely.
Happy that I didn't confirmed yet in getting an xpander. Would definitely get this, more powerful than the xpander and better looking in my opinion. Thanks sir Caco.
I should say it's excellent value, but would have liked to see a Panoramic roof in the top variant, that would have given a nod to the name Stargazer. As always Caco, another great review, thanks for sharing...
For me! The price range for this cool car is just right,.And it also fits it and as for the 3rd row when not halfly adjusted it's only good for short trips,,..To avoid discomfort but when it's already adjusted the third passenger can already enjoy the trip with ease.As for the cargo space 2-4 boxes is not going to be a problem as well 😉 Umhmmm,. Correct me if I'm wrong though Is this already the younger sibling of the Hyundai Staria? Since it also has their respective looks,.With the Drls as well as the headlights and the fogs lights So? If it's the younger or older sibling,.Then I'm correct ✅ O and speaking of which,.I'm alrdy excited for it's proper review 😉
hyundai is a reliable vehicle, we used to have one the i10 ,my cousin have one and my neighbor have a starex which is fun to drive.it’s show you its a popular vehicle in the Philippines.
What I like about this car. 1. Looks - side and back only 2. Cup holders per door 3. Infotainment 4. Space inside like xpander 5. IVT 6. The competitive price Donts 1. Not a fan of the front design 2. No air vents at 3rd row 3. Dashboard design that holds the infotainment 5. Lack of 360 camera - same with xpander
granted that hunky dash is polarizing but the Indonesian version had ambient lighting all over the dash, not just the cup holders. Bottomline though, that 1.5L engine with iVT is superb, beaten only by the Honda BRV's engine (as long as it's not the Turbo charged version).. Honda's 1.5L turbo is not really their best one.
stargazer has no spare tire set...can that be purchased ?optional ? and is there a model coming with sun rooof plus the spare tire possibly theis year ?..ty for reply
Hyundai missed out by not putting a sunroof or for some people, moonroof (depends on how you view it), on the Stargazer. I mean, if you name a car with that, you should be at least, gaze on stars or something.
While it does look futuristic, I'm not a fan of the front nose design. That back looks great though! That infotainment housing also seems too chunky. They can probably trim that down later down the line and dash would look much better.
Stargazer provides more comfort and style for a MPV. Very spacious and it has better safety features compared to other MPVs even BRv. Better riding experience and power. Hyundai indeed performs well with Stargazer and even all other products for 2023. Hyundai performs well also in the world market and waiting for IONIQ5 soon on the Philippine road.
Love the review. I love the ride and handling of hyundai (previously owned a tucson). But i had a horrible experience from the casa service of hyundai davao. I hope they have improved
Good vehicle. I Think this will be a good choice given the price and hyundai's current reputation. Additionally i'm more interested in the steering wheel especially the design on the inner bottom part because that is where i usually place my hands when driving to relax.
My neighbor has a Mitsubishi Expander. I haven't asked him how much it cost. The Hyundai Stargazer looks very good. Hey, you can fit more than seven Filipinos in that!
What caco forgot to tell is... 1. The steering wheel is telescopic. 2. You can adjust the height of the driver seat. 3. You can lean the 3rd row seats back, also the 2nd row. That's all i know...
great review, thank you so much. And of course i salute hyundai managemrnt for introducing an mpv instead of another suv. i hope they bring it to turkey as well.
The problem with Hyundai is the parts is very hard to obtain, it takes up to 2 months for a simple part like water pump to get. The aftermarket service is just bad the company needs a lot of improvements. I owned 4 Hyundai. Tucson, Eon, Getz, Veloster
i just don't get the drum, 2022 and still using break drums... good luck using it on long winding hills... not reliable as a break disc, the more you use the break drums the more it will be problematic, unlike those break disc, especially those ventilated ones... lovely 👌👌👌 . break drums are soooooooo 3 decades ago...
I don't know if I am just too accustomed to the usual look of dashboards, but the design on this one is just not for me. It looks like the design team forgot about the entire instrument and infotainment panel, then later just inserted them on top. Other than that, this new mpv seems promising.
this is the low end version of the dashboard and instrument & info panel of hyundai. check the hyundai elantra in korea/ other countries. it is a full lcd screen connecting the instrument panel and info panel.
@@phillipyee4748 i am talking about this particular model which is the one featured in this video and not other hyundai cars which are so far mostly stunning.
At 9:36 mark, there is battery percentage icon at the dash. Does this mean its a hybrid? Or only shows the life/charge/health of your battery? Also, is that 614km your approx range given your current fuel level? Interesting....
I think it has to do with the "Shipping Mode" that is visible on the cluster. Maybe it consumes less battery power / charge when transported? I haven't seen or read any article that says this is a hybrid, tho
The front of the Stargazar reminds me of the vehicle of Space Sheriff Gavan (a Japanese Tokusatsu series). I think the name of his vehicle is Saibarian. Hehe. 😅
Erratum - Hyundai Philippines clarifies: all 3 models will carry 7 seats.
Thanks for this clarification. I was worried that hyundai missed the point of the mpv category by selling 5 seater variants.
Thanks for the clarification. I got an interest in it aside from Xpander.
Good to know. How about yung monitor nya sa harap hnd ba nakaharang?

that stargazer used upgraded version of cvt engine. it uses IVT intelligence variable transmission.

They could have added a moonroof/sunroof to actually “stargaze”.
Caco those pencil boxes were a measure of success! Mine turned into a robot 🥹
I just noticed na parang mababa yung sit height (passenger seat/2nd row). Para tuloy limited yung view sa windows - 08:36

Performance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐(probably)
Lack of 3rd row makes me reconsider the Xpander. If you could, please do a head-to-head comparison between the two. Thanks 🙏
the 3rd row space is bigger than Xpander
I think the lower variants will have 6 seats. 2 captain chairs in the 2nd row, if we base on the Indonesian version.
I'm also not too happy that they didn't bring the air-conditioning interface of the Indonesian version which looked much cooler than these knob-type
