Since the SRX835p only has a 60 degree spread on the mid it was a bad angle to take the video. I just ordered a setup like that. Can’t wait for them to arrive 😛
Very nice rig. If I may suggest, I would try to find a way to transport those speakers with their drivers pointing up or down in that pickup vehicle. With bumps and knocks on the road you want the drivers of those speakers to move naturally.
funny, JBL/Harmon ships them in the orientation in the video on semi trucks that don't seem to care about bumps ;) you don't need to baby pro level gear
@@lethal_larry You can transport them like in that orientation, doesn't mean it's a good idea. You pay allot for your sound , so you transport them in a way that is the best way to transport them that is the lowest risk of shortening your speakers life. Just like you can drive your 4 cylinder car to 5000 rpm before shifting gears every time, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
@@Jarrow13 I'd have to disagree. The voice coil suspension system is specifically designed to operate off axis (compared to gravity). The surround, spider and voice coil former are engineered for this purpose. I suggest you research how a loudspeaker driver works. Thanks for the reply, cheers.
