Colony LOST is a Space Engineers cinematic RP series from Captain Jack. A motley crew of friends makes their way through a galaxy at war, all while attempting to make a difference in the worlds around them.
This video features a mix of survival gameplay funny moments, mixed with a montage style of cinematic RP editing similar to that of Neebs Gaming and more!

What's the choir music you use? It's awesome!
You should make a PT boat style ship. It would be small and fast so it can sneak up on the enemy, yet have enough turrets that the enemy could describe it as being made entirely of turrets so it can take out much bigger ships. If you have a ship like this you can use it as a dreadnought hunter.
I really couldn't care less tbh, Starbase is also not here yet, Dual Universe is ;)

The ship is quite easy to beat and then the mumbo-jumbo says it's actually quite simple

literally the vibe I got from seeing so much wreckage hit the fleet. An amazing battle as always!!

For some reason, I just realized that the war RWI is fighting against the GDA is very much like the human convanent war from halo

At this point, I think we can re-rate the _Eclipse_ from a corvette to at least a light cruiser
@James Gallarelli Actually, the official classifications of the Phoenix is an assault frigate. The Defender is either a frigate or a destroyer, while the Eclipse is currently rated as a corvette
Eclipse should be rated protagonist Cruiser.
I'd argue, based on how it performs in battle, that the Eclipse is a blockade runner by design.
hm i dont know. its small, fast and mainly used for hit and run attacks or covert ops. cruiser implies something with a little more staying power imo
pretty sure the defendors are destroyer class... but lets face it... if we get the Imperium of Man involved.. well.. um.. even the GDA would be going HOLY #$%&..... and i like 40K ship sizes... unfortunatly Space Engineers doesnt....lolz

Love how unscripted it is too!! XD it's nice to have some pure panic every now and then. Jack could spin it as the drones hit them with a directional emp weapon? They use a lot of power. And also LASER weaponry IS NOT VIABLE IN A VACUUM. In an ATMOSPHERE it would disperse so much that it wouldn't do anything exept burn stuff and blind you. Kinda annoying that sci-fi forgets this tbh. It's (slighly) basic physics. VERY SORRY I RANTED. K? K.

That moment at 4:29 , I got flashbacks to that moment in Last Starfighter, where the good guys after using there special prototype weapon "Death Blossom" are dead in the water with little to any power, and they just barely manage to get power restored like Capt. Jack's team.
All and all another great video, and I think this quote from Captain Barbossa "Why Thank you Jack." somes up mine/the rest of the viewers thoughts

Get Finn one of those travel mugs that seal. Helps prevent accidents such as stains, burns in the lap and inadvertently shutting down shields in the middle of a fire fight. 😎

I love how Craz and Reed was arguing with Finn on how he almost killed them by spilling coffee on the control console, but the second Jack got off the phone they immediately changed the subject.

You know, I really was thinking for a while that the Dawnbreaker would be getting a 2.0, rearmed to the brim with coil canons and lazers and such to go toe to toe with the Mega-dreadnaught. Yeah, no the Dawnbreaker couldn't break light; it wasn't revitalized.

The green drone supercarrier / dreadnought is a beast of a ship but it's nothing compared to the other SUPER dreadnought at the end of the episode

Jack man how you aren’t a producer is crazy, you and your crew turned colony into an amazing show and amazing spin offs, you should have done stargate and Atlantis maybe it would have made it further then Atlantis’ rusher ending and stargate could have had more episodes, all you guys are missing is the floating city that saves rwi’s home planet from getting wrecked
They should create a PT class that is small, fast, and turrets covering literally every inch of the outside. It would be designed to act the same as PT boats

Those 302s are great, but in battles like this, RWI needs something heaver, maybe a bomber-class with a bunch of those little seeker rockets you had on the Eclipse, if there is a small block variant.
Homing weapons make bombers much more viable, since you don't have to get as close to hit, and unguided torpedos/bombs need skill and a stationary target for any real chance of a hit, unless VERY skilled.

I can see Jack and the crew in the battle wolf 359 or the dominion war and Jack in command of defiant class, miranda class or intrepid class I'm not sure about what class Jack would command but either way all of the 3 classes would work for him and the crew 💯

The main point of a "dreadnought", for warships at least, is to have a uniform main battery (put very very simply 1 type of big gun and 1 type of small gun). Does this apply the space dreadnoughts or is it just a case of sounding cooler that battleship. You could apply the same logic to battle cruiser's and destroyers.

Put discovery shuttle into the eclipse hanger and put more armor on the bridge
You could fit a mini fighter in the eclipse hanger that’s tricked and out and armoured and shielded and call it the tyrant

GDA probably rated the Phoenix-Class as a higher priority over the CNL ship
CNL wasn't scratching the paint. The Phoenix is a proven design that can remove large amounts of paint... And paint equals money.... No one likes to lose money

@@azean84 that mod is kinda broken. The white, blue ripple electricity lags behind when the ship moves and it doesn't disappear when you delete the reactor ingame.
