Thanks for starting this channel specifically for Vegetarian dishes. Chef, can be soak rice with 1.75-2 measurements of water and use the same water along with rice for cooking. Is it necessary to discard soaked water to remove starch for uthiri uthiri rice texture. Pls guide..

Am sorry to say this. I learned cooking for survival during bachelorhood but turned to be my passion.but it is so disgusting to taste everytime while cooking. These fays i dont measure rock salt or water eith measuring aid. I use my experience and it comes out well mostly. kindly avoid tasting as it makes me to question thst wherever you are working as chef then i or any customer would get food after you taste the item? I also appreciate your prefernece over vegeterian.
We also use a fresh teaspoon to taste, so that way we will maintain the highest higene and clean standards. but in a commercial enviorment, we have inconsistent ingredients to the kitchen . Tasting is an integral part of a Chef.
