Bro I crazy admire how you are just jumping in to this, like just going for big projects in an attempt to reignite the love for art. It’s inspirational
It's time we have Sky High Two. I've been dying to learn about Barron Battle's quadruple life sentence. And TBH, I think Warren and Layla should hook up for real. Many fans weren't thrilled about Will and Layla hooking up(Too last minute, don't have much in common, felt like siblings, and Will's parents offered Layla meat dishes and she's a vegetarian.) So it's best if they give Will a new love interest and one that isn't an evil old lady nor too much of a sibling. Other than that, good job on the comic.
These videos always inspire me so hard. I used to draw as a kid but don't very often anymore. I feel like I've gotta just jump in an do a project or something to stretch my drawing muscles.
I drew a lot as a kid and teen and I never got to a level nearly this good! You are doing great. I can see the weakness you mentioned, namely proportions, but that seems to be a very common issue even some professionals will struggle with at times, and Im sure will become negligible with further practice.
Hey brother I appreciate ya sharing this! Glad you're doing what you enjoy instead of sticking to just one thing. Can't wait to see what else you work on to improve your drawing skills.
I can never draw bodies lol :P I wanted to practice and get better but an artist friend that i knew unfriended me so i got a bit discouraged and didn’t draw for a long time it seems. Doing a good job Keep it up 👍
Awesome video and comic. Your art skills are really good and I like your artstyle. It was fun to see your thought process while making the comic. I like the way you explain everything in your videos. I'm excited to see your next project. I had a thought about the seatbelt bit. You could place a smaller panel in between and overlapping the before and after panels. It could focus solely on the seat belts flying out of the seats with some action lines and maybe a sound effect. However, this definitely isn't necessary and could possibly make the page look cluttered. I just wanted to mention this in case if it could be of use.
Fun Fact upon some research i found a written interview by IGN with the artist who did the intro to Sky High his name is Kieron Dwyer he said in the interview Disney had him try a couple different styles the first was inspired by Bruce Timm (one of the creators of Harley Quinn and Batman the animated series) the second was inspired by Bryan Hitch (one of the authors of the comic The Authority) and they ended up with a mix of the two so the style of the intro doesn't actually match with the artist normal style which is rather dark and graphic and can be seen in the comics Sea of Red and Night Mary.
I am going to watch this Movie and then come back. GL on the comic making attempt. Edit I am back, what a nice movie that I was affraid would get into some really annoying tropes but never did!
Pro tip put all your panels to the edge of the frame because the white line on the side is for physical comics so the image doesn't get folded into the spine of the book but on digital comics it's completely useless.
I also always thought this movie had a comic sequel. It was so sad to me to know it was stand alone
I really think it's time we have Sky High 2.

I used to watch Sky High a lot many years ago and it's super nostalgic to me. It doesn't seem to be very talked about but I think it's great.

Sound effect seems like a good idea I hadn't considered. I do like the overlapping idea too!
The bus driver with no neck 😂 9:05 awesome work non the less, keep it up!
Yes it's true, this man has no neck.
I think you've done a really good job!
Thank you!

This is so cool!! Love Sky High, it deserves more attention. I’d love to see any scene with Warren Peace in it, I think that’d be pretty neat! :)
A Warren vs Will scene in the cafeteria might be fun to try out!
@@ChunnyKay Ooh yeah that would be really cool! Love that fight.
Time to watch the movie now!

Great work!
I honestly thought there was a sequel, could have sworn I watched it. But apparently there isn’t.
Yo would love to see either when they show their superpowers at the gym or the save the doll fight scene
This is awesome!
This movie taught me the word idiot. I called my mom an idiot after watching it because I thought it sounded cool. Got a timeout.
Wrong leverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-!!
