if you want to know how much a item is but you cant find exact values for the rolls you have on your item say for example you have 3 good rolls and one bad roll you would search for your item with that bad roll and find something similar to yours and price it that way
A hidden balancing issue provoked by the marketplace was being able to buy an invy full of blue fran axes or hunting traps for like 100 gold for a stack of 2. died to a ranger with 8 blue traps and they last so long even after nerfs lol
Ive been collecting multiple inventorys worth of mediocre blues expecting this update. I plan to sell them incredibly cheap, like 50gp just to crash the market. Just flood the market and make people think it's the standard so I can buy other peoples stuff at discount trying to match my prices.
This is great for buying but selling is way harder. Look at your items only 1 thing sold. At least with trade chat people had to buy what there was now so much gear will just sit in the marketplace
To be fair I set those prices last night when the update hit. They are probably too high to sell quickly (although 3 have sold today). I need to go back and check if the remaining prices are within reason. My ranger sold out 5 items from last night, while barb and fighter had some sales. But I see your point. I wonder if gear with bad rolls will just be cheap, unless it's a hot item like an Oracle Robe. I'm sure the market will adjust, and IM will gain valuable data from it.
And now the dungeon is useless for all but farming gold :) Get excited for whichever dungeon has highest gp/h to be the only dungeon that is ran! They should've made it so there was a limit to the amount of gold you could sell something for to make it so the trading post was ideal for things like Orange and above.
@@NotLikeThisJoe Of course but I'd love it if new dungeons ment new content, at this point boss farming isn't really worth the effort anymore. With the trading post it obfuscated the likelihood of getting what you wanted and you had to get it yourself. They might need to introduce untradable items that turn into currency upon death.
I'm looking forward to Community Games Day 2! Join the discord for info!
I'm ready to die to bosses more!
Repoze trying to scam people with that gold coin pouch...
Dont hate man, scamming is a legit strategy with evolving game content and requires skill.

@@davidcanmoocanu8127Not really it's kind of scummy. Taking advantage on people who just want to play and avoid real life bullshit like haggling.
@@davidcanmoocanu8127 Dude, it's like hes trying to sell you a sprite cranberry. Thats pretty messed up of him.

Throwable meta was already silly and op. That's unfortunate

I don't have the patience you do haha. I just pickup hot items in the dungeon like oracles, dark plates, falchions, or loose trousers.
Best update of all time bro

Right now the best gold farm is hunting players. 1 gearset can be thousands

Too bad the game is dead.
10,000+ online players is dead?
