      There are some biodegradable packing peanuts that are actually edible. They do a poor job for packing compared to Styrofoam, and they taste bad. And insects and rodents will eat them. So basically, they're bad at every single thing they are supposed to do AND they attract rats and mice. But you can eat that kind. Can. Not should.

    For 550 dollars, I've sold 3 6th gen i7 build with the newest 550 Watt 80 plus Bronze FSP PSU, on a B250 Motherboard which is upgradaeble all the way to 9th gen i7. In Indonesia, where computer parts are atleast 20 persent more expensive. I do cheap out on used ATX office casing I bought bulk from Singapore, since those ATX office cases are actually far more sturdierr than your typical budget gaming case.
    This seller easily make 125 bucks in gross margin everytime he sold one of these.
    WITH THAT BEING SAID, I sell exclusively offline, so I dont have to pay any marketplace fee and could remain within the "singgle person micro bussiness" tax bracket. If the seller is employing multiple person, then this price is more reasonable.

    hey guy I love your content very understandable for us technologically challenged folks. I have been noticing performance going down quite a bit with my PC. I love to have videos playing in the back ground while I game but I have been having Internet disruptions which cause a DC from my game. With some games I can't have anything in the background at all or I get serious lag. I have checked my internet several time and got new routers twice. I also have very long upload times. The same game that took a minute to load and play now takes 5-6. I am no computer guy and I understand basic things but not all that technical stuff. I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz on a MSI Z97 PC Mate mother board and a EV3A GeForce GTX 960. I use VENGEANCE Pro Series - 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 1600MHz C9 Memory Kit. I am sure that s time goes on these older PC's just need to be retired but as I am on a fixed income I don't have the money to replace it. Any suggestions on were to go with this rig or is it hopeless.

    • @ZachYoungBlood
      @ZachYoungBlood 7 місяців тому +2

      When you say performance down are you also getting less fps? Do gpu/cpu/motherbaord temps all look good? Is your internet hardwired with ethernet or you using wifi? Games having longer load times could be your hard drive aging, make sure you defragment it with windows and could even consider reinstalling windows for a fresh start. I think your cpu is actually not that bad but your graphics card is probably starting to really show its age

    • @ZachYoungBlood
      @ZachYoungBlood 7 місяців тому +1

      @@hectagone5076 True, but it's much harder to replace cpu and with a decent cpu cooler that i5 could be overclocked somewhat. If he's on a tight budget the only thing you could really do is grab a used 1070ti or maybe a 2060. Sure there's gonna be a bit of a bottleneck but would give a decent boost to performance

    • @dianaalyssa8726
      @dianaalyssa8726 7 місяців тому +1

      You might benefit from a fresh install especially for Windows (backup files first though to be safe). Another thing to be sure is it isn't gaming on the wifi. It's going to be with that age of hardware where it might be hard to both game and have background tasks. Would also check ram usage and cpu/gpu usage during game/browsing. Can lower video resolution also in the background. Hope something works to help. Were you to upgrade anything ram would likely be the cheapest but try to monitor usage and what seems to be happening, perhaps you are running out of vram, you will have to see what is going on during stressing it/normal sessions for you. Another thing mentioned here is the cooler, perhaps a repaste or the cooler changed to a better some decent $17 TR ones if you have a stock cooler. GL.

      @dianaalyssa8726 7 місяців тому +2

      One last idea I had was checking the diskhealth in hwinfo, see that your ssd is healthy. I'd start with a fresh install of Windows, maybe repasting or troubleshooting as you go to figure it out. Think you can refresh what you have for a while longer.

Like I prefer the second because I have a big Steam Library that requires multiple terrabytes, maybe if I only played online and esports games the bigger ssd would be fine but I like installing os, programs and small files on the boot ssd for speed, then I got 5tb's of hdd storage for my huge catalog of games, also is good so you don't constantly run out of storage with a puny 512gb ssd

    • @Polyeith
      @Polyeith 6 місяців тому +1

      Honestly nowadays it's probably the move, in part because SSD prices are so low.
      It's one of those things where a lot of the people who are buying PC's at this budget don't have as many games to download anyways, and so 512 is probably enough for them.
      In addition a lot of games don't run as well nowadays on HDD's, and in my personal experience 120gb isn't enough for a boot drive anymore. Imo it makes more sense for most people to just get a big SSD or a small NVME & a big SATA SSD because prices are so low

      Its real bad, my current pc with an x570 wifi board, r5 3600, rx 5600xt 16gb ddr4 is under $350. Thats the difference between building a used pc yourself or buying a shitty prebuilt

      Get one of those Chinese xeon kits from machinist, something like a rs9 pro Mobo with a 2667v4 CPU + a soyo rx5700, for around 375ish dollars you will be able to play anything.
