    I’m Amazed they managed to have such an impressive score while using so many real songs too, and there are a lot in the show. Usually some movies and shows that have a ton of licensed/real songs they can kinda overshadow a score, but isn’t the case here, love the brotherhood score as the prydwen arrives

      Well John is at the helm, and if the score of West•World (the show, which I still think is cannon but that’s another comment) is anything to go by then yeah can’t wait for season two in general.

    • @MamadNobari
      @MamadNobari 9 місяців тому

      Eh, the score isn't bad, but it's not as memorable or iconic as Westworld and GOT, or even Person of Interest's theme. So I would say the soundtrack was kinda better and overshadowed the original score a bit.

      @@occono3543 Yeah that too. I'd also imagine it's really hard coming up with a catchy and iconic theme every time, and just because he did it once it means he can do it for every show and movie he works on.
      His Westworld was creative too, he would take these famous rock or pop songs and make a cover of them in the style of Westworld and it worked so well. I kinda wish he did that again with other shows.

      @@illidank996 It's actually in the first episode itself in its entirety. It scores the entire sequence for Lucy getting ready for the wedding/trade right up to them leaving to meet with Vault 32. I think it perfectly captures the 'sunshine and daisies' kind of atmosphere of Lucy's vault perfectly, as well as her view of it. Ramin Djawadi - one of the finest movie and TV score composers alive today! And I'm right there with everyone saying it sounds just like the instrumental music from the original games. I would not be at all surprised if he consulted with Inon Zur, composer of the Fallout 3 and 4 soundtracks, or at least made a close study of his work. It's what I would have done.

I think they felt that having worked on westworld with them they wanted someone they were familiar with, but I think it was a terrible choice not to get Inon Zur (or even mark morgan who worked on the first and second fallout games, whos tracks are repurposed in fallout 3 and new vegas heavily) for this project.
