i feel bad for the pilots irl who had to fly this, it was basically a flying acid attack since the fuel used was so acidic and unstable it tended to blow up
Me 163 is one of my most favorite planes in the game. I think the problem I noticed in your gameplay is a lot of the times you're throttled up to 100% for no reason. 90% of the time I'll run at 15%, and only if I really really need some extra speed will I kick it to 100%. You can last a full 20 minute game no problem--it just takes a bit more time to learn how to use your fuel. The guns I think are god tier, it's just a bitch that you can't really hit anything past 650 meters if you're chasing it down 'cause the shells are self-destroying.
The HEI-T* night belts are self-destroying but the stealth HEF aren't. if you get the belts and select the guns with the least amount of self destroying (marked by a '' * ") ammo in them, or just use stealth and work on your aim, might be something worth looking into
But it's probably better to just not worry about engaging anything over 500m anyway, and not getting sucked too deep into chasing down enemies and wasting fuel

when you are low on fuel but still in the fight you can just pitch up and escape from everyone, you have a much better climb rate normally and with low fuel it’s exponentially better. on high altitude you can glide very far with this plane so most of the time you should be able to get back to base even with much altitude to spare
or just fly the mig 15 bis (with repair costs that only premium players can afford)
the one with 20mm is really good though just an even higher br if i remember
It's 8.7. Not worth. I used to play it a lot at 11.0 with a buddy who got the F-4E when it was released. It was super fun, but nowadays you can't hang as well, even at 9.7.
I got this plane just a few weeks ago and it quickly became my favorite.

Okay, I've had fair ammount of games with it, so here are few tips for struggling ones:
Dont use 100% fuel, you can climb up to decent altitude, hit about 600-700 kph and cruise at 15% until you decide to pounce into battle.
Cesspool fights are your best scenarios to fight because everyone's turning, losing speed while you can easily maintain yours in turnfights. Just remember to zoom out of combat once in a while so noboby will jump your ass while dogfighting.
If you're facing uptier with jets that have good missles, you can bait them to fire off at you. When they fire missle you just turn off your engine and change your flight path a little. Don't worry about loosing thrust, its a rocket engine so it gains it's thrust in a moment.
Keep in mind that just because of your speed and turning ability it doesn't mean you should pull 10g turns at speed above 650kph.
If you don't have a brain built-in trajectory calculator don't try to snipe, especially when enemy's faster than you cuz he will simply outrun your bullets. Try to treat 108's as short distance shotguns.
G tolerance is crucial while piloting Me 163 so you should focus on that.
And at last: if your opponent is dumb enough try to bait him into going vertical after you. You'll keep going up to the moon while he'll loose energy and eventually will become a sitting duck.

Thanks for playing the 163! I really like it tbh and I think you can def stretch the fuel out more. I’ve only ran out of fuel recently maybe twice and one was on a ec map. Ec maps are definitely rough but do able. Just gotta climb high and cruise at like 15-20%. It suck but 🤷♂️

So far I've been told every problem I encounter is a skill issue, that I should pay for premium planes because I'm not good enough to play otherwise, that I need to gitgud, that it's my fault I'm bad and asking how to deal with high repair cost on planes just means I have a major skill issue. I figured you wanted your discord to be an open place where people could learn and exchange strategies, it is legitimately one of the more toxic communities I've spent time in and you should get some mods to attempt to make it more friendly for people who want to play the game and improve. I left your discord today due to this constant barrage of "getgit" and "skill issue" bullcrap. I know you probably don't care and your a busy guy and this isn't a priority, but it's a *very* unwelcoming community.

Hey Joob, just wondering if you could play the MiG 21s R13 300? I know it’s BR sucks with the a10s and Su-25s (no countermeasures suck) but if you play it right, it’s actually so much fun, especially with the R3r missles with their funny head on capability 😅🤣😳

@@petr8976 no not all aspect, only rear. Because all aspect have a cooled sensor that can detect anything hotter than the atmosphere. Rear aspect do not and need an intense source of heat to lock on to.

Kinda better but at the same time worse is ki200. You at least not fealing like throwing rocks at others because your shoots are faster. But currently like we know 8.7 got killed by spam of russian bias mig 21 going to 9.3 meaning more super fast jets at sabers - migs 15 br making it even less fun to play, oh and su 25 is always waiting at 9.7.
At the same time this me plane is good but i feel like sometimes you can break at first 10g turn but sometimes you can't break even at 12g. I'm guessing russian logick that most planes that are not russian should just break.
Last thing we have in this version short 30mm gun meaning only HE rounds and at the same time not that accurate if we look how tracers rounds fly in sky. But last is kinda not even worth mentioning that much but ki-200 feals easier to use even version with 20mms but is is 8.7 if i remember so the same thing like in ki 200.

I've never understood the ticker system... could you or someone else explain it ? I get that planes cost X and ai cost X but other than that, why do they tick down?

@MayoNotes but sometimes it just ticks down like a certain number with nothing happening
@@TheGuyfromValhalla Actually if you pay close attention, the AI is killing the opposing AI. This also counts as an AI kill and therefore drains the tickets, until no tickets are left.
In addition, for some reason tickets go down by 100 every few minutes. Still haven't found an explanation for that.
@@Pydron. on a map i played last night. Every AI plane I destroyed drained around 20-30 tickets, and every AI ground unit a teammate killed drained the same. The match was over after I killed 3 AI planes and he killed 6 to 8 tanks. The enemy team still had like 4-5 players left and the match was barely 6 minutes long. BR 7.0. Also we were losing on tickets until I starting killing AI
(I had changed my player markers to not display names so all I saw were aircraft type and distance. I stupidly thought I killed 3 reeeeally bad players who didn’t shoot back and felt too good about myself until I turned them on next match and saw A4s are AI planes)

I just HATE how pc players can free look like that. On console you basically have to give up half your controls just to free look
Just get a mouse n keyboard. Playing with controller puts you at a disadvantage by default.
