My condolences. It’s hard to lose a family member. From the first time I saw this as a patron, the best way I could describe it was pure joy! Layne did such a good job with the arranging, costuming, set and direction. (Yes, he told Geoff to do the hair flip. ). Plus we got to hear more of his singing! And thanks to his daughter for loaning her remote controlled rat (Remy) to the shoot. All of them did great on the singing and acting their parts. I’m happy that Ashley not only got to sing, but also to show her comedic side this time. She fits so well with the them, and I hope we see a lot more of her in the future. And thank you. I always look forward to your reactions.

This was such a great arrangement and narrative. Cesar killed it with his Puerto Rican accent, Ashley was great as usual with the runs and stuff. Layne singing is a rare sight, especially with the high hat solo in the middle. He did Eli dirty though with the roles lmao... I love how when Cesar pulls out the umbrella the BV's go "ella ella eh", which is dangerous from a copyright standpoint but funny. My mans is playing the shapeshifter character, that's why he looks like Bruno in one frame and like Isabella in another. Can we all agree that Geoff is the best Disney princess? Apparently, the blouse was initially Ashley's idea, she bought one M and one L just in case the M didn't fit, so she talked mans into the Isabella gig. He wore his regular socks and boots though, you can't see it in the video. The scream was actually a stock goat bleat, he did a good shriek when recording but they edited the goat in just for shits and giggles. The rose petals were practical, but there was one slight problem: they're too heavy to float for a reasonable amount of time, they fall almost vertically like trash. They literally had to pull out a leaf blower so the petals would fly far enough. They had to record that shot at double speed and slow it down in post, which is hilarious and impressive.

Aw, so sorry your gecko died. Yesterday my old Bengal cat died, just laid down and never got up. It's hard to lose your critters. When we went out west, we were follow a point of interest sign out to old ruins. On the way back there was a collared lizard that we finally captured. We put him in our film cooler, caught moths for him, registered him when we went into parks, and set up a terrarium for him when we got back. He was such a cool fellow.

If you enjoy the musical, check out the rock version by Nightwish's Phantom of the Opera. Andrew Lloyd Webber said it was his favorite off Broadway version. Highly recommend you check it out COLD. Don't do any prep and post the reaction. You won't be disappointed.
Have you seen Big Hero 6? Afaik, the first and possibly only Pixar movie with no musical numbers whatsoever? There's still a soundtrack, but the closest thing to a musical number is a montage or two. Btw, how the hell does Madagascar make you cry? . Hmm....I'm not so sure that was Geoff. Not to malign his talents in any way, but I'm pretty sure than was a Wilhelm scream.

It's a surprisingly subtle story about overcoming generational trauma, toxic positivity, and seeing people as more than just their talents. I thought it was great, though I'm biased since my BIL voiced one of the villagers.
Actually Geoff is playing Camillo, the shapesifter, who is pretending to be Bruno. That was proved when he became Isabella, and back to Bruno.
