looks great. Gonna brew a wheat beer today myself based on Sierra Navada's Sunny Little Thing. Girst is marris otter extra pale, wheat malt, torreffied oats, and a little carapils. Using 25g of mittlefruh at 60 and 15 mins for about 16IBUs and then fermenting it at 35c on Mangrovejacks M12 Voss. And for a bit of an experiment I'm adding 10g each of crystalised orange and grapefruit powder after high krausen as a sort of citrus dryhop addition. Hoping to have a lovely refreshing citrus forward summer beer for the start of lawnmower season.
Did an American Amber shake n brew last Sunday. Should be sampling it this weekend. I put my hops in a filter cylinder in the keg to help try and keep it a touch cleaner, but it makes good beer doing it this way vs an all grain build. Longest part is getting water up to temp. 😂
Also 1 centimetre cube of water is also 1 gram so 10 centimetre cube of water is 1 kilogram which is 1 Litre, so weight/volume and physical dimensions are all tied in. Welcome to the wonders of the metric system!
Tjenare Hans!
Nope, your overthinking it. Its just a double batch from the 8 liter bacthes I brewed before in the 9liter mini-kegs. But brewing 19L in a 19L keg is not a good idea. You want some headspace.
Come on! You can do better than a Corny Keg. A fine specimen of Scandinavian manhood like yourself can easily shake and brew in a full-sized 50-litre keg. Next video ok? 😁 I've done a shake n brew in a corny before, but unlike you, I used a funnel. I brew in the house except in summer and if I dropped sticky DME on the floor my wife would make me live in the shed for a month or more. Cheers!

Sounds great!
I always love to see someone else making a mess😂😂
Then you have come to the right place!

Cool, let me know how it turns out!
At some point, I need to get my hands on a mini keg or two and give the Shake N Brew method a try.
Yes you should, it’s fun and fast
as an American, 1 liter of water weighing 1 kilo....is brilliant!

@@NoMusiciansInMusicAnymore 10cm cubed, is .01 liters of water. 1000 cm cubed is 1 litre. 10 cm cubed would only be 10 grams of water.
Welcome to the metric system 😁
@@viper29ca a 10cm cube would contain 1000 cubic centimetres.
@@viper29ca a 10cm cube has a volume of 1000 cubic centimetres.
I need to try this method
Yes, please do and let me know what you think!
Thanks!
Thank you so much Jon, much appreciated!
I have been doing this with apple juice concentrate and didn't know it was a thing.
Tack för en bra video som vanligt. Du kanske skulle bli ÅF för Angel?

WLP320 will give you a cloud wheat. I have used this before and the banana and clove were hardly noticed.
In my opinion an American wheat does not have to be cloudy
Noticed you cut down to 16L instead of 19L for this batch. Is that due to it being wheat-based, and if so, how did you decide on 16L?

Shake it harder!😂
It´s starting to get heavy!
🤣🤣🤣
