Packers fan here, big fan of the show. Glad to see the Aaron Jones love. Despite my immense appreciation for Josh Jacobs this season, both the guy and the player, AJ is still one of my all time favorite players. Best to him, he's a great player and an even better guy outside the field.
Thank you for the mailbag episode! I'm glad that they are back in the rotation! Also, thank you for answering my question. The Love vs Stroud hype depends a lot on which national media people pay attention to. PFF grades came out on Monday for the Packers vs Seahawks game and PFF graded Love at 66.something. I believe that they gave Geno Smith a higher grade even though he threw a pick and had another ball hit a CB's hands. While discussing the game they talked about how Jordan Love is a gunslinger who is always going to throw a couple jump balls per game. Love hasn't thrown a pick in 4 straight games and wasn't credited with a single TO worthy play against the Seahawks. Of all of the national media sites that I would expect commentators to be up to date on the most recent data it would be PFF since they are famous for their analytics and yet they're spouting off stuff contrary to what their own numbers indicate. PFF isn't the only place where they treat Jordan Love like some wild turnover prone QB which hasn't been the case for the last month. I believe that he is tied with Sam Darnold and Patrick Mahomes for 11 picks this year? Meanwhile, there are 7 other QBs with more picks, one of them being Baker Mayfield with 16 I believe. Honestly, the national media as far as I can tell has really quieted down on the CJ Stroud front. They don't talk about him as much as they used to, but when they do it usually mentions how bad that the interior O-line is & how it limits his effectiveness. Frankly, they're right. The one fan base that's been truly mean spirited to CJ Stroud have been the Bears fans. Since their post game talk, Bears fans love to point out how CJ Stroud has thrown more INTs than Caleb Williams and maybe Caleb should have been giving advice to CJ instead of the other way around.
And it's the return of the backwards baseball cap hiding his hair as well. Show off those locks before they fade away! It's hard to show your future children what you used to look like with hair when all of your old pics and videos hide your hairline.
No matter what, an entire organization and their fan base would get to experience the Pinnacle achievement for the very first time. That's always awesome. I'm a Cubs fan as well (IL/WI border life). I really appreciated that World Series matchup against the Cleveland Indians (now named the Guardians I think?). Cubs were down 3 games to 1 at one point, and although I desperately wanted the Cubs to win, I also didn't hold any hate for Cleveland because both franchises had horrendous Championship droughts.
I was thinking about Darnold situation recently and I realized what I think is the perfect answer for next year. The Franchise Tag. For QBs it's going to be just under 40 mil so in line with the number Ziggy suggested but not for 3 years (I don't think Darnold signs for less than 45m/yr anyway). It is also roughly only half the Vikes available cap space so they still have $ to work with and not many holes (I don't know who are FA after the year besides AJ33). It allows Darnold to start the year and you can follow your plan to give McCarthy a year to actually practice before being thrown into the fire. And allows for a year of actual evaluation. You avoid giving Darnold a Daniel Jones style contact for 1 year of good ball. And you don't let him walk for nothing (comp pick in 2026). Heck you can even tag and trade him to at least get better draft compensation.
I think they should play sanders in key situations. Let him in on a few downs on defense early in his career, but I think him playing in those big time moments to showcase his whole skill set.
Of course, I'm a packers fan, but I love Aaron Jones and always. Will he is amazing person and a great player? I wish we could have kept him, but you know how it goes
I remember you and Kaner, at least a little. I was mostly active from like 2013-18 - the OG iPolitics days, but I checked in occasionally until like 2021. This is probably before your time, but if you remember like the Dustbringer vs. the Marxists stuff--that will always be peak iFunny to me.
@ I've been there since 2011 lol, I remember it all. Sorry for dunking on MonarchTrump, the ultimate iPhilosopher. Literally a mental flashbang when you said that
23:00 there is mathematically a path to the one seed for the Packers. 1. Packers win out (13-4) 2. Vikings and Lions in week 16 and 17, tie in week 18 (both 12-4-1 3. Eagles lose out Easy peasy lemon squeezy
You forgot the part where the Lions find a way to lose to the Bears. When have the Bears ever won a game that Packers fans actually wanted them to win?
You don’t put in a flat screen and surround sound before you build the framing of a house. The Bears absolutely should’ve drafted or traded for and offensive line before a skill player like Rome Odunze.
If the Packers get to the Super Bowl, I would not like seeing KC as the opponent. Why? The Refs. They haven't called an offensive lineman for holding on the Chiefs in the Super Bowl since the Tom Brady matchup. This past Sunday, Miles Garrett got poked in the eye against the Chiefs and it wasn't called. The play ended up being a touchdown. Funnily, Garrett was wearing a visor BUT because of the rain collecting on the visor it was an impediment to his vision so he took the visor off. As soon as that happens the Chiefs lineman SLAPS him in the face. Miles' head ROCKS back and immediately tosses his helmet away and collapses to the ground WHILE Mahomes scrambles and eventually throws the TD pass. Again, NO FLAG was thrown. Isn't Miles Garrett the reigning Defensive Player of the Year!? And yet even HE can't get a call even when his health (& sight) is placed in Jeopardy!?!? No, I don't want to see the Chiefs. It's a near guarantee that the game would neither be clean nor fair.
Hilarious Paul admitting the Lions winning the SB would send him over the edge. Well that might be because the Vikings NEVER won the SB yet and the Lions neve rhave either and they beat you to the punch! 😂😂😁😁🤣🤣😜😜 More historic Viking misery! Great show guys. GPG!
Jesus Christ ziggy telling people you got into philosophy because of ifunny is an absolute insane declaration especially for those well acquainted with that app lmfao
Paul, I take my kids out for ice cream if the Packers win and if they lose I don’t. I am definitely training them. Also, I definitely know what iFunny is
I think GB wants whichever seed gives them the NFC West. GB is 4-0 against them this year and I have worries about a shoot out with the Buccs. They are my upset team
I fear the Rams over the Bucs. Stafford & McVay have done it before while Baker Mayfield has 16 (or so) picks and their Head Coach gets criticized by their fans at times. Don't get me wrong, I would rather the Falcons sneak in instead of the Bucs since I believe that Tampa Bay is more dangerous, but the hardware tilts my concern more to LA.
I actually can understand not wanting the lions to win the superbowl if you are a vikings fan. Vikings still looking for their first one after making it there 4 times, meanwhile the lions never been there, so to win the superbowl in their first appearance would sting. At least the bears and packers have a superbowl loss. Packers vs Broncos, Bears vs Colts. Plus lions fans would probably be even more insufferable if they won the superbowl. Bills vs Vikings would be an interesting superbowl but Josh Allen is playing insane right now. 1 NFC North player for a zombie apocalypse? Amon-ra St Brown, dude is a psychopath but team player.
someone’s out for I receiver watching the Packers ain’t gonna get the receiver to anyone that easy someone’s gonna have to pay 100 grand for him. I don’t know if it’s 100 or 200 grand. Is that good of a receive? but I think it’s 100 then for Watson he’s not gonna be cheap. ☄️☄️
Bears biggest draft mistake was trading fields instead of trading the one pick for a haul. If we look at their draft they had 5 picks. Used one on a punter, one on a developmental tackle and another on a developmental pass rusher. Just a dumpster fire organization. The only way they make the playoffs in the near future is if theyre the 4th team in the nfc north to do so.

I feel like the Packers are a year away. Totally possible this year but the eagles and bills, lions seem to be a bit better. All year I’ve heard “ if the packers could just but a full game together “. They seem to be consistently inconsistent. I hope the Seahawks game was that full game they were looking for and they go on a run in the playoffs but I’m not convinced they will beat the upper crust teams.
Packers fan here, big fan of the show. Glad to see the Aaron Jones love. Despite my immense appreciation for Josh Jacobs this season, both the guy and the player, AJ is still one of my all time favorite players. Best to him, he's a great player and an even better guy outside the field.
Imagine if they could’ve some how had both.
You don't have to say you're a Packers fan here. It's a given. It's a Packers channel, after all.😂
Thanks for bringing the mailbag back fellas
I definitely remember iFunny 😂
Awesome mail bag guys. I'm glad these are back.
I love all your videos but really glad to have another mailbag! GPG!!
We need the mailbag more often!!!
Even though I’m a packer I love the show!
What do you pack?
I meant a packer fan lol
I live in Green Bay. If you need a place to stay for the draft you know where to find me 😂
Me too?
Thank you for the mailbag episode! I'm glad that they are back in the rotation! Also, thank you for answering my question.

Always good when our back can take a fat load.
would love to see y’all at the draft in green bay!
thanks for the mailbag boys, happy to keep the questions coming! If yall ever need a GB homer on the show; I got y'all!🫡
Ditto!
I thought this was a serious channel, but Paul shaved his stache. Shame.
An absolute travesty

He got tired of mothers grabbing their children's hands and giving him troubled stares as he neared playgrounds
@@buttp0under420 disrepectful.
If you keep growing it until it curls, people won't think your a pedo, but an old, timy villain. An upgrade in my book.😂
Packers fan, but I could get behind the 0-8 combined Super Bowl record Bills vs Vikings showdown.

Baker is cleaning up on Fantasy just saying vs Stafford and the rams. The guy is on fire this year.
Boy in the Bubble - Jack back on set.
Is it beneficial for the packers to play on the road? Their fans travel well and they seem to play domes just as well if not better than outdoors.
Of course, I'm a packers fan, but I love Aaron Jones and always. Will he is amazing person and a great player? I wish we could have kept him, but you know how it goes

Best Superbowl Green Bay vs Kansas City. Repeat of the game that started it all. Can the Pack stop a 3 peat for the Chiefs? Great storyline.🤔
Love vs Mahomes for the Lombardi Trophy would be an all-timer

Prime time played both cb and wr for Dallas. I like travis as a receiver tho.
He did it for the 96 season. otherwise, he played almost exclusively corner.
@ThePaulFarringtonShow Travis isn't prime time but that the only time I could think of.
If it were Bills vs. Vikings in the SB, an illness would need to get both teams causing them to forfeit because of not enough players to suit up. 😮
