This song was ahead of it’s time. No doubt.
I simply don't understand why Blue Stahli isn't WAY more famous. It's like listening to an abstract painting, layered, complex, interesting, wholly focus on one task. Excellent.
His fame will probably spike again once/if he releases Obsidian. Right now he's doing that Quartz and Copper nonsense.

It's because of the industry. Several artists pick labels like Fixt, Napalm Records, etc. for a good reason. They're not artistically restricted (unless a song has a "bad" meaning, but that won't happen).

Found his music in 2010, I instantly loved the style of his art. Dude is a fucking pioneer of his craft and this album is a live testament of why his shit is legendary.
