It has been 23 years since I have had the opportunity to listen to this Melody of greatest hits. Has brought back great fond memories and can say I owned each of those albums.

Ok. As a Polish American AND the 1978 Mayor Bilandic 9:54 Chicago lakefront polka champion I got to win the contest entirely with the help of Eddie. I gave him the song we practiced to and the cue as to when we were done... And it was perfect! Thank you so much Eddie. He was the best.
I've always loved all of Eddie's music from the beginning. Waitressing for my Uncle John's place .. Personality Lodge, I got to hear and dance to his music quite often. Eddie's music and my dad Joe Hyzny's music was happy music that made you dance. -- Marian Hyzny Chromcak
Love this music. I grew up dancing the polka. My dad was the bass player for the Pittsburgh Harmoneer’s Polka Band. I miss dancing to the music...miss Dad more each day.
Eddie recorded a great song. "Johnny's Troubles". I just remember being a child, and laughing like a maniac every time I played the first 10 seconds. It started off with this line." Ay Ty stara cholera gdzieś ty był całą noc?"
Never seen or met the big fella but I know as a kid I danced with grandma and grandpa to the big fellas music. my sweetie pie Spoczywaj w pokoju wielkiego wpadłam
R.I.P Eddie B!!! Horns always made the polka for me!! (Pittsburgh [McKeesport] here!) The best polka party I've found, as of late, is the BIG MOOSE, out of DuBois, PA. 102.1FM.

Great band I could drink beer to this all night

Eddie B. was the very best. Nobody can come close to replacing him.
I saw Eddie Jr when he was still leading the Versatones. I also saw his brother. His brother looks and sounds more like his dad.
When I was in school a class I had the teacher would play this exact video every Thursday. And now I’m going to keep the tradition
My God bless Eddie's soul what good times back in Brighton park at polonia grove on Archer ave in Chicago
I wonder if Eddie and Bill Haley are reliving their Comets’ days behind the Pearly Gates. Whaddya think?
And, mon ami, this is why heaven, now, has so many polka parties !
It has been 23 years since I have had the opportunity to listen to this Melody of greatest hits. Has brought back great fond memories and can say I owned each of those albums.
