The goggles are only there to protect the stunt doubles eyes from the rain and wind. It was also only being filmed in the day because they were just rehearsing the stunts before filming later that night, the DP confirmed this fact

I went from thinking the bat suit was dope with it sleek kinda light but protective look being mildly horrified by his arms with the full look
