Thanks to the folks at @SpeedAddictsTV for all the help as I shopped for this beauty from @hjchelmetseurope @HJCUSA - use code JOHNNYPRIME for $150 off @chimerabmx
I just ordered a yellow one yesterday, because at the store they had only gray color. It fits right on the head although the cheeks are a bit tight but they will loose
@gerkav1008 yeah the cheeks will definitely break in. If you want to speed up the process you can take the pads out and put some heavy books or bricks on top of them for a few days.
That’s a great looking helmet, nice addition to the line up! I’ve been looking into 3/4 ones with the bubble visor. I usually have problems with the drop down because of the beak 😅
This one had a great amount of clearance for the beak! The bubble visors look really cool - I just worry about getting an anti-fog film in there being difficult because of the shape. I may try to grab a snap on visor to see
@@eyebahnrides so far it's great without any add ons. I'm trying to find a clear drop-down visor to replace the shaded in case the tint is too dark for the night time, but I don't think it will be necessary. Snap on shields are basically all compatible across brands, from what I understand. I'll definitely let you know if I get one. The anti-fog films I have on my other helmet shields all work great though.

@@JohnnyPrimeCC lemme know how it goes with the visor. That was my concern with it as well.

Nice! HJC usually destroys their helmets by putting their branding crap all over the place.
