Hah, I paused at 20 just as the screen changed to "addendum" I was going to write about trying to place the heel down first ... thanks for clarifying. I see everyone ask about how to turn around with their feet. I found over time by just letting it be - my feet found the way to do it the same way. And thank you about kicking straight out to the side requires slight hip turn with opening. My dominant side tends to sacrifice the weaker side by not turning in one direction. And in watching I just realized about harnessing the energy in the circular/spiral motion to not over turn exposing the "back to a push = per se" but, bring into the center and let it pass through from there; again like a figure eight. Thank you for the videos Randy - they do help.

I could use extra help on that pivot turn, I had a partial torn meniscus but fully recovered now, Sifu took me off this form maybe because of it but I desire to get back on it.

@@bobbader4789 Anything in particular, please just ask. The method I showed for the turn is the "slow" method. There is also a faster technique where you use the leg swinging behind to precipitate the spin and spin on your toes. Much depends on your footwear, the surface of the ground, etc.

Pivoting on the left heal and right toe at the same time is like that old challenge of tapping the top of your head while circling your other hand on your stomach.😂
