I think than the EQ l for momentum 4 works well also I have tried a third party eq app on android don't recall the name but it's mentioned a lot. This app does serious EQ completely changing the signature I tried a configuration that targets the Harman curve and I was so impressed ! It was like having a different pair of cans and it was really good! However personally I preferred the default flat of the M4s. Thing is that they are so clean at the lows that it offers what Aaron says more body and to me it sounds more natural or at least more pleasant.

Accentum plus vocals are more present and clear even than my Momentum 4s which sound somewhat similar to Accentum! SENNHEISER Must provide such a clear and preeent tuning similar to Accentum plus on the momentum 4s through a firmware !!
Until they do, if you can't achieve the result with the EQ app you can definitely do it with a third party app that works on top of the sennheiser's app some app offer configurations by users that you can also adjust! It makes wonders once you figure it. M4s are extremely versatile pair of cans. But yes sennheiser should add this within the app and through the account users should be able to share configurations !
Aaron, since those having aptx adaptive as the Momentum 4 it might be worthy mentioning the sennheiser's BTD600 dongle that enables aptx adaptive for any PC , MAC or android (not sure for ios) it also samples at 24bit/96kHz if you set it (default is 24bit/48kHz as many devices cap there like android, you can override this woth certain apps though) To my ears did a huge difference than the aptx classic that PC supports better imaging and sound has way more depth more detailed if you will. Another thing using then with AAC or aptx classic limits their potential at least for the momentum 4 and probably for the accentum plus.
Oh they fixed the location of the sensor in the can ! With momentum 4 if you got big ears that are pressed by the pads they don't slide easily in you have to put them on I specific way therefore the sensor is not always triggered, it's my only complain with momentum 4 .. I turned off that feature of auto play/pause.

It's an upgrade for sure . Ldac is useless unless u are listening to high quality FLAC's . In youtube Spotify it does nothing. Aptx is actually better than sbc aac for UA-cam Spotify . Not mentioning that accentum sound way better even with same codecs .

I'm using apple music on android which I know may not do wonders because it doesn't supprt LDAC codec so what I do is, I connect it to my Macbook through cable and it sounds much better. So currently I'm using the sonoflow as a wired headphone and as a earmuff during winters. I'll try out the Accentum Plus before buying. I want Bluetooth headphone with better quality and looks so the Accentum should work I guess.
@@Mumbai-Toronto-NY idk if u know or not , but ldac doesn't work if u are using a wired connection . Wired connection gives u the best quality the headphone can offer depending on the input of ur MacBook and song ofc .

But I want a headphone which I can use wirelessly and still expect good music because I don't have FLAC files of any of my fav albums so I have to rely on Apple Music which is as equal to Spotify when used on an android phone.
Too many of these ear products are over-priced disappointments. One might do better with no software and some wired headphones (AKG?) and just using the GEQ inside Spotify. IDK. Annoying to find the right thing in audio.
