સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટના ચુકાદાથી એવી મુસ્લિમ મહિલાઓને મોટી રાહત મળી છે જેમના તલાક થઈ ગયા છે. કોર્ટે બુધવારે ચુકાદામાં કહ્યું કે મુસ્લિમ મહિલાઓ તેમના પતિ વિરુદ્ધ સીઆરપીસીની કલમ 125 હેઠળ ભરણ-પોષણ માટે અરજી દાખલ કરી શકે છે. જસ્ટિસ બી.વી.નાગરત્ના અને જસ્ટિસ ઓગસ્ટીન જ્યોર્જ મસીહે અલગ અલગ પણ એક જેવો જ ચુકાદો આપ્યો હતો.
