Hello lovelies, thank you for tuning in my baby dress tutorial for more videos please do visit my channel. If you have questions and clarifications about the pattern you can always email me or comment below. Have a nice day you all
Hi just get your childs chest measurement minus 10in/cm depending what metric you’re using then whatever is the total after minus 10 that’s how long your foundation chains should be for the panel of the little dress .. ☺️
Hi just cut of the yarn and attached it to the other side to start the second cup or sc around the first cup til your reach in the middle and start the second cup
the dress is really adorable. Should I have 99 half double crochet in the second row? And, did you skip one hdc stich in every row(2-12) or you just skipped the chain 1 stich?
Hi hun thank you and yes I did skip one st (at the beginning of every row ) from row 2-12.. measure you baby chest and from there you’ll know how many hdc needed hope this helps and let me know if you have more question
Hi hun yea ofcourse any yarn will do ..if you use a yarn above category 3 then start with 60-80 foundation chain in the waist band or if you have 100 foundation ch like what I did in the video it’s still gonna be okay since it’s adjustable at the back and in the waist 😊 hope this answer your question if you have more concern please do ask thank you for tuning in ☺️
hi love your work i wanna do this beautiful dress for my niece... may i know how many yarns you used for this dress?? and can i use lase yarn for this dress?? ♥
Hi hun in the first row of the waist panel I started a chain of 100 that shoul fit 8-12 months but until now that dress still fits to my daughter and she’s 1 and half year old already ☺️so depending how big your bub should start chain of 100 that will do it’s adjustable at the back too.. and if you’re to use it for baptism make sure you make it bit longer coz atm that dress is a top now for my daughter she’s taller 😁..hope I answer your question if you have more queries please don’t hesitate to ask.. thank you for tuning in
i would love to make this for my niece. where did u buy your mercerized cotton 4 ply because i can only find a crochet thread mercerized cotton which is pretty thin.
Hi hun I’m in Australia and I got the mercerised yarn from craft store called spotlight..but if you’re outside australia you can try this shop called hobbii they ship worldwide from Denmark and they’re beautiful their yarns are ..let me know if you have more questions I’ll try help you out cheers 🥰
@@romelylaborda488 you’re welcome thanks dn po for checking im filipina ☺️I’ll have a look po some shops that’s local to Phil and ships to Philippines mercerised cotton will let you know 😊
Hi hun this one starts with 100 ch ang she’s 8 months that’s time of filming and it’s bit bigger so I suggest try with foundation of 50chains for 0-4 months bub and it’s adjustable at the back so it’ll be fine
Hi I able to finished 1 and a half ball of 50g or 175 meter of mercerised yarn and thats for 8-12 months old baby and long enough to reach to her knee.. so depending on how long you want the dress should be or how big the baby you might consume more or less ball of yarn ..hope this helps and let me know if you have more queries thank you for watching have a pleasant day lovely ☺️☺️
Hi lovely sure can, you can definitely expect more dress for little missy in the channel for the mean time don’t forget to subscribe and hit the bell so you will be notified for our future dress tutorial I upload weekly thank you so much 🌼🌼🌼
Hey lovely should be alright to use 5mm hook especially in the skirt part we want it drapey effect or flowy.. as for the yarn yeah 100g is enough if you’re making a small size dress
Reham Ramiz hi hun a chain of 80 should be alright for 0-6 months bub that’s for the start of the top ..as for the skirt part(part two of this video please see my channel) ,a chain of 20 instead of 26 to connect the back of the top .this chain will be the adjustable part of the skirt /dress once worn .. thank you for stopping by in my channel hope you enjoy 😊 if you have more question don’t hesitate to ask away 😀have a pleasant day
Hi hun the dress is 17inch or 43cm across the chest I use 3mm hook with 4ply 100cotton and I started with 100ch as my foundation.in your case you’re using acrylic depending how many ply the yarn is try starting the foundation chain with 85-90 instead of making 100ch and fit it around the baby’s chest. Tho shouldn’t be worried too much the exact chest measurement since the back is strings and it’s adjustable. Hoping this will help you if you have more questions please don’t hesitate to ask I’ll try to help as much thank you so much 😊
@UCiy3NwHXRRE9SI_FixzaWcg I have slize but I never tried them yet and it’s cotton so I cannot really tell the difference yet between the yarn I use in the video and the alize brand tho the one I use in the video is slightly in the thinner side strands of yarn.. and yes the chain at the back of the shirt to connect should be alright with 20-26ch and it will be scrunch anyway once you will insert the ribbon for adjusting once the baby wear it.. hope I solve your dilemma let me know if you have more questions hun I’ll try to answer them 😊have a nice day
@@Yommycrochetlogy thanks again sorry My reply got deleted by mistake Thanks a lot I’ll start over And yes I’m making a sweater for 1yrs baby too but I m confuse with full arm size How much a full arm size should be for a yr old baby
Hello I love your work. I'm Trying to make this for my 2 years old, how many chain should I start with please? And how many chain should I connect it with at the back? Thank you in advance
Hi made this dress when my daughter was 9-12 months old and this still fits her until she’s 30 months old 😄 but shorter so if you’re making if for 2 years old she’ll still fit on this dress just make sure to make it longer plus it’s a corset closure at the back for easy adjustable
Hi I started 100 chain and my daughter that time was 9months old so probably if you’re 14months is big bub you can add 5 chains in your foundation chain.. but the back is adjustable anyway so 100 chain foundation should be alright for 14months old..let me know if you have more questions I’ll be here to help thank you so much for watching my channel 🌼
You are a nice person and your work is beautiful but I am sorry it wasn't good for me - it was missing many details. You don't mention the number of chains or stitches to skip when you need to do so, you are skipping essential moments like the beginning of the rows where suddenly there are many crochet stitches you have already worked through.. if you would make a more detailed video that ould be great. Cute baby you have there, God bless her.
