Best of Niche series is a great idea! Thanks for keeping us in mind Josephine! You are beyond knowledgeable, you could be an awesome brand ambassador for these houses. Thanks for sharing your love with us
How great to have Josephine dissecting her faves from Atelier des Ors's wardrobe -or other niche houses. Bois Sikar fits the scent profile, I always keep coming back to, though I can sense it will be more appropiate for cooler environments. This would be a second time your description from its scent -gets a hold of my attention; since, I left a comment on your list of 'head-turners". Well, Josephine... I'm thumbing up this video and wishing you 🤗 a great weekend = feliz fin de semana!
I swear Jus is the perfect perfume reviewer. I like that she goes into detail of what the fragrance is. Whether it leans more feminine or masculine. It definitely helps me make a better choice when considering buying. Love her!!
Purchased a sample each of Lune Feline and Rose Omeyyade. Still deciding whether I like Lune Feline because it's quite sweet BUT Rose Omeyyade is stunning! Exactly as you said, it's a balance of everything, the rose, the sweetness and oud. My second great recommendation by you, the first being Hibiscus Palm. Thank you!!
Rose Omeyyade is such an elegant, beautifully balanced scent. It's got the mature, elegant sophistication and gravitas of scents like Sisley's Soir de Lune but also, just as you said, is not too much of the oud and not too much of the rose; it's perfectly balanced between the two notes and not sweet and syrupy as some rose-ouds can be. The picture of the wearer: A mature, confident, well-educated, well-travelled, solvent, busy creative woman with pride in her heritage and with a solid sense of style would wear this. She might be an interior designer or antique and art dealer? The only downside with this magnificent, mature scent is the sillage and longevity are poor, so for the price tag the performance is very disappointing. A terrific gift for a very specific kind of woman. Gorgeous.
@@jusderose If someone ever asks you what sort of fragrance to recommend as a gift for someone who loves rose-- straight soft rose that is not powdery, not 'pot pourri' desiccated rose, not woody nor jammy then may I suggest 'Decade' by Boadicea The Victorious? What a balance, what a fine trick! If you ever do a video about all the varieties of rose fragrances, please slot this one into the 'straight rose'. It's just beautiful and would make the most ideal blind buy for those looking for an elegant, creamy, rose-in-a-five-star-hotel-lobby kind of rose. Also, I'm really curious to find out whether I'm the only one who thinks this but: does Fiore d'Ulvio by Casamorati not smell like an upgraded dupe for Estee Lauder's 'Pleasures'?! Now THIS fragrance would make a great gift for a woman who you know wears Pleasures. Love your channel! xox
I saw these on Les Saunters web site a few weeks ago. They sound stunning. Btw, talking of fudge cake I was wearing my Black Orchid one night in my local and one of my lady friends told me I smelled like "sexy chocolate cake" what ever that is! 😊
@@jusderose right now I prefer Choeur des Anges, Iris Fauve, and Riviera Drive the most! If anything, I'll have to highlight them furthermore in depth sometime in the near future like you just did. Cheers! =]
It's very good that you attend your fans suggestions, thank you. Disgusting about brands and their identity is a professional action and it's necessary for fragrance industry progress.
Bonjour Josephine, great review again; that really helps!!! It would be great if you could review these houses below: Frapin, Lubin , Micallef, hedonic, Vagabon prince, zoologist (bat, bee, squid), mFK, SHL, eldo, ATH, Franck Boclet, phaedon, l'orchestre parfum, Rania J, MDCI, Amouroud, Jul et Mad, Renier, Anatol le Breton, christelle Jacquemin, en voyage, Ramone Montegal, Joe Malone, Land of warriors, affinescense, nishane, Tiziana Terenzi, Prissana, Pierre Guillaume, kerozene, Xerjof, Daniel Josier, Nasamatto, l"arc, Jack Fath... Merci!!!
I was just about to order a sample of riviera lazuli when I saw your video. Nice overview of the house Josefine! I appreciate the information about the house and what they're about. Would love to learn more in future videos if possible :-)
Bonjour Josephine :) C'est toujoirs un plaisir de te voir..... Ateliers des ors Bois Sikar est magnifique,,,,!! Je l'ai testé grace a ton conseil..... Il est la au dessus de ma liste d'achat... Merci Josephine :)
I'm so curious about this brand, so thank you so much for talking about some of their perfumes!! 💜 I'd definitely love to try a sample of Lune Feline and Rose Omeyyade! 🥰 Keep up the great work, Josephine!! 🙌😘
These parfumes sounds just amazaing!!✨✨✨ thank you for making your top 5 of them, so I know where to start. Love the way you describe them, I feel that these parfumes suits you so well - really chic, elegant and extraordinary💖😘
Hi Josephine I'm excited about the new niche house serie and Atelier Des Ors is a great start 👍 I'm sure you know niche brands and fragrances I don't know 🙂 Atelier Des Ors had a nice sample set, but I can't find it anymore on their website 🤔 Greetings from germany
Seems like a very interesting and very diverse house ! One which I have no experience with. Thank you for painting a canvas of intellectual fine art through these fragrances. See you again soon . . . thank you for sharing ! :)
i hope u continue to do these top 5 of a particular house series. great job as always. Would u be able to do one on annick goutal? If u hv experience with them? Also hv a bonus question forgot to ask. Whr did u take the course on eloquence n organised speeches from? :P
I don’t buy a lot of niche fragances because they’re hard to get over here and if you find them they’re twice as expensive, but still I’ll be watching all of this 💛
Hi jus Great to know about this brand. Would request you to make video about designer fragrances that smell niche. Tc and you look stunning. Love From Pakistan 🙂
I will give them an other chance with Rose Omeyyade since I have tried Lune Feline, Aube Rubis, Nuda Veritas, Rouge Sara and Noir by night which are very good composition and smells great but only for the first 15 minutes and then disappears in shocking way compared to the price range.....
I am enjoying your videos immensely, so pleased to have stumbled onto your channel ❤️ Have you gotten your nose on Lune Feline extrait yet? I haven’t ... so I’m super curious! And excited! Lune Feline is perfection to me, i will never be without a bottle .. I can’t even imagine what the extrait will be like. I’d be so pleased to hear your thoughts if and when you’ve experienced it. @@jusderose ohhh, I’m so glad I mentioned it to you! I’ve just heard from a youtuber who reviewed the extrait .. she has both versions and says they are virtually identical, the extrait simply lasts longer. Never a bad thing! I want to smell it for myself. Thank you so much for introducing me to lune feline. It makes me very happy 😊 as do your videos!
Great question! I haven't experienced any issues with my bottle. The gold definitely comes with the fragrance... i think it's so delicate that it wouldn't clog up the atomizer.
Thank you for aiding me in understanding this house better. Slow but sure, will be as I will purchase A fragrance every 2 to three months. With the expense comes the '' being careful '' with what you purchase. My first purchase of this house is BOIS SAKAR - .... the rest will be from your recommendations. Definitely appreciate your input and option on the fragrances. Keep up the GOOD work. In appreciation.
i too love Niche parfums, I just recently purchased Sloth extrait de parfum by Zoologist ( from luckyscent.com). It is the greenest perfume I've ever smelt , so perfect for summer/fall. I highly recommend purchasing a sample if you like unique; I look forward to sampling more Zoologist parfums!
I randomly picked up Bois Sikar recently (showed it in my most recent video) and it was an instant WOW moment. I need it!! I will probably buy it in the Fall. I love it so much. It’s a powerhouse and I could still smell it on my arm after showering! Incroyable 😍 Love your channel, would love for you to check out mine, I am new to the Frag community. 😀
WHY do reviewers keep breaking down scents by season it has become cliche...those in warmer climates wear richer smells all the time (and sometimes the heat enhances )only in the west do we stereotype.WHERE WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU WANT.
This is done to help guide people - there is lots of seasonality around fragrances - I don't know many people who wear a thick sweet heavy vanilla fragrance in the heat or a light refreshing citrus in the winter. But yes, ultimately, you need to wear what makes you happy!
@@jusderose Thank you for the reply...in the Middle East , India for example attars are prevalent with the temps in the 30's C... there are three known you tube reviewers from South Florida who do not shy from this subject with their rich selections. In the end it is about how much you apply. I wear Tauer's LDDM.in the heat of the night perfect for this namesake and actually it is beautiful and different than the cooler temps.
