Hey Scott, welcome to Sardinia 😂🫶🏻✨☔️ Stay here too for holidays next to Alghero “the little Barcelona” - which is worth to see beside the Capo Caccia & the “Grotta di Nettuno” (you can catch a boat from Alghero for 15 €/ the Grotta another 14 €). Unfortunately here without motorbike 😢 … the weather is mad & changing so fast from sunny to poorly rain 😮. I’m suffering with all the guys on bikes when it’s raining but instantly get so jealous when the sky’s open & everybody on two wheels is going with a big smile trough the Twisties. Sardinia seems to have nearly no straight roads, it’s paradise 🤩. Have a good trip & lots of fun on your wonderful travel sofa 👍🏻✨
I live on the road as a nomad, and have ferried many times with a bike. The smaller ferries will lash them down, but the larger--hopefully more stable ones--will usually not. So far I have'nt seen any drops!
It’s so unfortunate Scott! The rains in Italy were so unseasonal & unusual. My cousin reported flooding around Pescara & I saw up north complete flooding in Emilia region!☔️
Nice, except for the weather :) How did you manage to mount that Rackpack next to the top case? I thought it was supposed to be mounted in the same place as the top case (and thus replace it).
Oh, easy, the it comes with 2 different kinds of mounting straps but the ones that I used to mount to the top rack, are the same ones I used to mount to the seat because the RT has the passenger grab rails, so just strapped it to that, easy. take care, Scott
Riding in the rain is okay, until your crotch gets wet. That's usually and indication you've pushed the limits of protection, even with good riding gear!
it rained in Italy everyday the whole may and now few days in june too
Scott
Good or bad weather, best channel on the web. The food looked great!
Cheers!
Ride SAFE and BE safe Sir!
👏 looking forward to the next episode ❤
i like your optimism :-)
Looking forward to following you in (sunny?) Sardinia. ✌
Nice to see you get away on a bike adventure.
Rain sucks but i'm sure things will improve...food looks great.
Enjoy your trip & stay safe
Most (larger) ferries are so confusing! Not to mention the road to the ferry! Difficult to find the logic in the system.
Thank you mr Prove!
Hi Scott, nice to see you in Italy. Hope you have had a beautiful trip. Ciao
Man, you telling me you gave up on the BMW Nav? 🤷🏼😂 - Ooops. -I saw it later on….Ride safe👍🏻
Great vid. Sorry about the weather dude. But aren’t you glad you’re on an RT?! Take care. G.

Thanks. Any day on a Bike is a wonderful day. We did France and it was just totally wet and then dry.but full of fun.
So the bikes were just on the side stand and not lashed down? That's confidence in a smooth crossing!

Wow.. that's a bummer, the weather. Very nasty. Hope you had better weather the rest of the trip
Don’t like ferries. Floor is always so slippery. 👍
Must be something to do with where ferries operate.
It’s always painful getting on & off ferries.
Time consuming, especially if you have limited days on vacation. It's always "hurry up and wait", wait here, wait there, oh and wait again here...etc.
