Hong Lim Complex hawker centre have many nice fried kway Teow, Mince Pork Noodle (Bakchor Mee), nice custard tart, muffin, curry puff, nice LohMee..🤗😋😋😋
been heading to this chinatown complex these past week, on 05june and 10june to try out two different stall selling steamed fish, it was very delicious and affordable. the fried kway teow, was also surprisingly delicious, decide to try it as there's a queue and the very first time I came to this hawker centre was during the circuit breaker. tried out their claypot rice as it was highly recommended but back then takeaway was the only choice, and I live in the north, by the time got home it was cold. and the recent week, I visited the hawker centre twice and saw the entire seating area near the stall majority ordered the claypot rice, while the area I sat, all ordered steamed fish. I loved one of the fruit juice stall, which would ice blended the fruit juice, it was affordable compared to where I usually get which would cost $5.50, the stall sells it for $1.50 and $2 for the large cup.
MSW durian when in season used to be around $17-19/kg… earlier news reported due to weather not so good so the harvest is less therefore price will increase blah blah… but my neighbourhood guy can sell msw @ 15/kg and it’s very good quality…. Seems like so many businesses just want to increase prices citing this and that
Ghib,, i bought the karinto manju , i bought 2..sweet potatoe n 2 red bean the fresh one n bought 10 frozen one all 55$,, tried the fresh one,, its nice,,, thks for d info Ghib, 👍😅☕️
If they can maintain their standards in ingredients to keep the dish at $5 in these times, that's super impressive. Alas, I paid $14.90 for a beloved and hard to find char kway teow this week (in Australia) and the flat noodles were replaced with pad thai noodles. And $15 is cheap in Australia these days.

5 bucks especially after Covid? Impressive.
I think S$5 is for omelette, noodle/rice and salad only. Additional top up for soup.

Bro still are you in Singapore?
Yeah bro!
めちゃくちゃお徳で美味そう‼️(^^)
But business in Singapore 🇸🇬 is still not to its potential as in pre-pandemic days.
Yea it’s like 20-30% of pre covid 🥲
What is the mask 😷 rule at present in Singapore 🇸🇬? Some people are wearing masks 😷, and some people aren’t 😷🚫?
Outdoor no need wear. Inside buildings/aircon/public transport need to wear.
He give u soup for free. Meal is $7 ala carte is $5.
It's too bad these people can't retire.
